It took me longer than usual to find the right materials for today’s articles, but better late than never. I’m current with replies. Tomorrow appears routine.
Jig Zone Puzzle:
Today’s took me 3:40 (average 5:07). To do it click here. How did you do?
Short Takes:
From MoveOn: You'll Never Believe Who Rejected A Young Hillary Clinton
LOL!! I bet that there are a whole lot of Republicans that wish she would fly to the moon!
From Daily Kos: Today, President Barack Obama flew into Dobbins Airforce Base near Atlanta to speak at the College Heights Early Learning Center in the relatively sleepy suburb of Decatur, GA.
The school is renowned for it's quality education. While visiting with students, parents, and administrators, Obama gave a speech where he praised the value of early education. This is all common-sense stuff except to those pushing starve-the-beast austerity type measures that hurt the underprivileged and disenfranchised.
The highlight of the trip, though, was the right reaching an all time low… by shouting racial epithets outside of an elementary school!
"You're a [n-word]!" one shouted.
"Go back to Kenya!"
What can I say? This is a clear cut case of Republicans acting just like Republicans.
From MSNBC: Rachel Maddow exposes the hypocrisy of McConJob.
Visit NBCNews.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy
Rachel has McConJob down pat, but she's also plugging her Iraq War special this coming Monday. I'm sure that will be worth watching.

3:36 But I swear I was coming unchained!
3:37 California Dreamin' Today at 1 pm it is sunny and 77F outside in Southern California. Three of us are cruising along the coast within 4 seconds of each other. Is Patty going to come along and blow us all off the road?
Almost 1 1/2 minutes under, and 3rd is still the best I can do!
5:02 This was really funny! I tried doing the puzzle with my tablet. Never again!
I sure wouldn't!
Now that makes me want to vote for HIllary (as if I already didn't!) in 2016! How cool and how feisty she is! She'd have been a great astronaut.
Could you imagine a Clinton-Warren ticket in 2016?
Probably not very balanced, and Warren may be a bit too "green" yet – but boy, that would be something!
I'd really love a Cinton/Sanders ticket, cause I LOVE Bernie Sanders. But Clinton/ Warren would make the GOP "gnash their terrible teeth and dance their horrible dance."** That would be lovely!
**Apologies to Maurice Sendak.
Actually, she's well to the right of Obama.
Georgia idiots make me wish the Secret Service would call in SWAT team back-up & shoot a few bean-bags into racist crowds! Still not as vicious as the regular cops are to Occupiers!:(
Yrue, Yvonne.
Puzzle — 3:36 But I swear I was coming unchained!
MoveOn — I wonder what that NASA official thinks now, if HE is alive still? Saying 'No' to a possible future POTUS, the first female POTUS, is truly amusing!
Daily Kos — Simple minded, uneducated, ignorant, incoherent people — that is the description of the protesters. That pretty much defines Republican/Teabaggers. I should also note that if a person has an education, they don't necessarily know how to use it.
MSNBC — Is McConJob a "Jekyl and Hyde"? One minute he seems like Mr Nice Guy telling people to be polite, and the next he's being a junk yard dawg! He's getting old and senile, and definitely needs to go on some meds. Obviously he has no acquaintance with truth or manners, unless it serves his purpose.
Cartoon — I've seen this picture before, so I know it is McConJob, but I also think in this one that he ressembles that sneering Cheney! Birds of a feather flock together.
Ahead so far.
Ih probably feels like I do when I remember telling friends to stick to CP/M, because that little nerd, Bill Gates and his buggy OS would not go anywhere.
True. In Republicans' case, most got the wrong education… at home.
I think he is in the throes of Dementia.
Indeed!
