Edie is a relative newcomer, who became an instant regular, commenting on almost every article. She comes to us from Care2, where she is also very active. We have to admire her courage, because the poor woman’s Senator is none other than the infamous Bought Bitch Mitch. She is a welcome addition here. Congrats Edie! Apologies for posting this a couple days late.

Congrats Edie! It has got to be tough to be a liberal in Kentucky when you have to put up with Jabber Jowls McConnell as your senator. I think you also said once that you have a Republican/Teabagger Representative too, didn't you? A double whammy! I don't know how you manage to keep your sanity in such 'illustrious' company, but you do and your humour too! Congrats again friend!
