It will be another very hot day, so I am not a happy camper, but Iβm current with replies and, barring unforeseen circumstances, will be blogging tomorrow.
Jig Zone Puzzle:
Todayβs took me 4:52 (average 5:30). To do it, click here. How did you do?
Short Takes:
From MoveOn: EXPOSED: Mitt Romney’s Koch Problem
He is the ultimate Koch Sucker.
From The Nation: Incredible, and revealing statement, from Romney last night at a fundraiser in Montana (hosted by Charles Schwab) on getting booed at NAACP confab today for ripping Obamacare: "Remind them of this: If they want more stuff from government, tell them to go vote for the other guyβmore free stuff. But don’t forget, nothing is really free."
We know nothing is free. We’ve paid for far too much stuff for millionaires, billionaires and corporate criminals for far too long. Romney is essentially accusing black people of being freeloaders. I trust that Romney will be using the event to pander to racists.
From Me: The following worthless pieces of crap betrayed America and goose-stepped with the Republican Regime against Obamacare:
David Boren (DINO-OK)
Larry Kissell (DINO-NC)
James Matheson (DINO-UT)
Michael Ross (DINO-AR)
For a Democrats, voting to repeal their party’s signature achievement is the most craven thing they could do.

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
3:51 Let's see if my time holds up today. Looks good, anyway.
That looked like one of the best beach parties I've ever seen. Hooray for the 99%!
David Boren (DINO-OK)
Larry Kissell (DINO-NC)
James Matheson (DINO-UT)
Michael Ross (DINO-AR)
How can these 4 even call themselves Democrats???
3:54 Your time is holding up so far. Good solve, Patty!
Last again!
Great video thanks!!!!
YVW, Sam! ;-D
There were FIVE Blue Dogs. You forgot to include Rep. Mike McIntyre (Dino-NC)
At least Reps. Ross & Boren are retiring.

Mea Culpa
Puzzle — Well I went bananas on this one! Just average but I'll tell you, the heat must be affecting the computer or something because picking up pieces was horrid.
MoveOn — Great video! Great 99% beach party! Do you suppose the American people could have Rmoney charged with attempt to import Koch into the White House? Should be a felony count, no?
The Nation — "Remind them of this: If they want more stuff from government, tell them to go vote for the other guy—more free stuff. But don’t forget, nothing is really free."
Rmoney really has forgotten how to butter his toast! He doesn't even know what side to butter! Another thing in The Nation that I thought rather interesting is Rmoney's documentation with the SEC over Bain Capital as revealed in the Boston Globe — as Stephanie Cutter for the Obama campaign puts it, he is either lying to the SEC which is a felony, or he has misrepresented his Bain business dealings with the American people which is a trust issue. Liar or felon? Apparently Rmoney has demanded a retraction from the Boston Globe and an apology from the Obama campaign.
When I was young, my mother told me that if you're going to tell a lie, then you have to be consistent about the lie otherwise it will trip you up. Better still she said, just tell the truth and then there isn't that problem. I guess Rmoney's mother forgot to teach him that lesson, or being the chauvinist, he figured his mother didn't know anything so didn't heed her.
DINOs — I think it is time to put these idiots in a museum with the rest of the DINOsaurs and fossils!
Cartoon — Yeh, but that was the black & white version! No colour model! I wonder if Rmoney had an Etch-a-Sketch back then so he could practice the art of remaking himself when need be?
That happens when the connection is a bit substandard.
It would be if Koch was declared an illegal drug.
Good points. I'm covering the issues the Gloge brought up today.
The only thing that makes the better than Republicans is that they count toward determining the majority in the House ands Senate.
Does Etch A Sketch do color?
Colour reference was to Rmoney's sunny little picture in the Etch-a-Sketch in the toon! OMG, did I just say "sunny little picture"? I think I'm going to hurl!
Duh! Etch My Sketch Oblivious!
Willard Romney is the ultimate Koch Sucker.
I see you agree. π
