Willard Romney, aka Switch Hit Mitt, has amassed a record for prevarication without equal, not only because he has taken such firm and irrevocable stances on both sides of every issue, but also, because he has a penchant to make up facts that have no relation to reality. The rest of his party follows his lead.
In Texas one week after the state helped him unofficially clinch the GOP nomination, Mitt Romney accused President Barack Obama of putting politics before a plan to create more jobs.
"[W]ith America in crisis, with 23 million people out of work or stopped looking for work, he hasn’t put forth a plan to get us working again," Romney said Tuesday. "Now I know we’re getting close to an election so he’ll come out with one soon, but three and a half years later, we’re waiting."
Speaking at his first campaign event since the latest jobs report was released that revealed unemployment in May ticked up to 8.2%, Romney spoke optimistically about the state of the economy while taking a swipe at Obama’s re-election campaign slogan and his accomplishments in office.
"I really hope that things are getting better. And there’s some signs things are getting better, albeit at a very slow rate. The president wants to hang onto that twig, that maybe he made things a little better, but the truth is, he did not make things better. If they get better it’s in spite of him, not because of him," he said… [emphasis added]

Of course, lying is SOP for Romney and the Republican party, as Rachel Maddow demonstrates with Noam Scheiber.

If you have read me for any length of time, you have seen me state that I posted something incorrect by accident and apologize for inadvertently misinforming you. As Rachel said, people make mistakes. Honest people correct those mistakes. That Romney and the Republicans keep parroting the same lies, even after they have been completely disproven, clearly shows that their use of deception was and is intentional. Romney may well be the worst of the bunch, making him unfit for public office.

“a plan to get us working again,” Well, Mitt, you’re unemployable. Zero skills. Failed at just about everything you did. Please. Move to wherever you’ve stashed your ill-gotten millions and leave the rest of us alone.
Amen Marva, and congrats on your award!

And we working poor will be the ones suffering… đź‘ż

From your fingers to God’s brain!
An important diagnostic factor ; Antisocial /Sociopathic Personality Disorder : Lies when the truth would serve better–
It certainly appears pathological.
Yes, but republicans like antisocial personality disorders in their candidates, let’s face it. Â And the voting has been rigged already in Florida and other key states where republicans are running things (into the ground). Â They are monsters, and they very well may win.
Romney has a jobs plan? Â I ALWAYS ask right wingers what Mittens’s job plan is all about. Â They NEVER answer this question. Â Nobody knows because Mittens hasn’t said anything other than, “Vote for me. Â I worked in the private sector so I know how to create jobs.” Â What a lying tool.
Very well said, Angie!
“…he hasn’t put forth a plan to get us working again,” Romney said …”
And what does this fool call the AJA which the Congressional Republican/Teabaggers obstructed by saddling it so so much unrelated baggage — negotiation Republican/Teabagger style?
I love how Ed Schultz highlighted what the Republican/Teabagger dominated Congress voted on:
Ed Shultz — “The Republicans will vote on anything except jobs.” When you look at the list above of the things they voted for, it is so easy to see why this is a “do nothing” Congress. In Oct 2011, 3 different pieces of jobs legislation all rejected by the Congress and why — because the Republican/Teabaggers saddled them with irrelevant and unrelated bills like the approval of the Keystone XL pipeline. In other words, the Republican/Teabaggers have, are and will continue to engage in political extortion.
After listening to Rachel, which was very entertaining and informative, the only conclusion I can come to is that Rmoney and the Republican/Teabaggers have been, are, and will continue to throw as much shit as possible to see how much will stick! Unfortunately, with the low-effort thinking of so many Americans, and so many Faux Noise acolytes who just love to be fed tainted pabulum, there is a problem with real truth! It is too bad that the truth in advertising code doesn’t apply to political ads and news casts. Differences in opinion are one thing, but blatant lying, like the lying done by Rmoney and the Republican/Teabaggers where the truth is readily provable, is quite another and should be subject to an enforcable code of ethics or conduct with hefty penalties. And this should apply to ALL politicians etc.
That’s exactly my point.
Rmoney’s Bain Capital Mission Statement does NOT HAVE ONE WORD about JOBS!
There are two ways to attack Rmoney”s claim of business acumen:
Great find, Nameless!
Pres. Obama has put forth many efforts to create jobs, all of which have been nixed by RepublicanTs in the House and Senate with their false job creation bills and sandbagging.
Let’s face it. Mittens lives in his own little world and everything he says is true only to him and his sheeple.
Bingo!
To be fair, Rmoney would create millions of jobs, and if you want one, just move to China.
