From Reuters: Dozens of Occupy Wall Street protesters were arrested during the weekend as police cleared New York’s Zuccotti Park, where demonstrators had gathered for the struggling movement’s six-month anniversary.
The park remained closed on Sunday with a sprinkling of police surrounding it, keeping the area clear while crews cleaned up following Saturday night’s protests. A sweep just before midnight, when roughly 300 demonstrators had gathered in the park, capped a day of protests and marching in lower Manhattan.
I fully support OWS and hope more people recognize that very many people with agendas claim to represent OWS, when they do not.
From PC World: WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, a thorn in the side of the U.S. government thanks to his posting of classified information, will run for a seat in the Australian Senate in spite of being held in the United Kingdom on house arrest.
This development could be most interesting. I wonder if he actually can run.

MoveOn — I saw this within the past few days, I think with a short commentary by Robert Reisch. Both Presidents were dealing with recessions which I find particulary amusing. Under Reagan, what amounts to being stimulus spending was ok but not for Mr Obama. Funny how when a Republican/Teabagger overspends it is ok, but when a Democrats just spends is a national crisis worthy of obstruction! .Reagan’s spending excesses must have been for jellybeans!
Cartoon — Is that cream of wheat in that bowl? I used to enjoy cw but not anymore! The whole bunch of the GOP candidates are so scrambled, breakfast will never be the same.

Does grits taste like corn bread? or can you bake it like corn bred? I love corn bread which is made with corn meal and flour, but I keep hearing people say they hate grits. Very confusing. Oh, and now I know where you got your picture base — Wikipedia in the article about grits. Had to laugh at the disambiguation though. For me, grits are the Liberal Party of Canada.

All the flavor is bleached out of grits. It tastes like paste.

The reason I ask is because today is the 19th. and you post is dated the 18th which was Sunday. Your eyes must still be messed up since you were not able to read the day and date correctly. LOL…LOL…LOL…
