Three major danger symptoms that cause concern it may be more than just “pink eye”:
[1] Blurry Vision: Often indicates serious ocular disease. If improves with blinking, suggests ocular surface discharge of some variety (conjunctivitis).
[2] Severe Pain: An indicator of keratitis, corneal ulceration, iridocyclitis, or acute glaucoma
[3] Photophobia: (“fear” of light – or simply light sensitivity). Halos are most characteristic of iritis, but may also occur in acute glaucoma – particularly if they’re colored halos
If any of those symptoms are prominent, I’d encourage you to seek medical attention TODAY!
That’s terrible! I had it really bad about 5 years ago. But hey, that way you can’t see in the mirror to see how strange you look…..;-)
