Yesterday I slept late, but am still quite tired, because my COPD kept me up most of the night. Nevertheless, I have the two big items of the day covered covered. I’m pleased that my nether regions have finally returned to normal. I’m current with replies. Today I have an appointment that will take up most of the morning, so how much I get done will depend on how I am afterwards.

From Politico: At least 21 companies have pulled their ads from the “The Rush Limbaugh Show” since the conservative talk show host called a law student a “slut” on the air last week, as the social media blitz against the popular radio program showed no signs of slowing down Tuesday.
Companies are continuing to join the rapidly growing list of businesses that have ceased advertising on Limbaugh’s show, responding to the flood of grievances that are pouring in from disgruntled customers.
This is excellent news. The more he loses, the better.

Fartfuhrer Walker explicitly promised to negotiate with unions. He lied then, and he is lying now by claiming he did what he said he was going to do.
From LA Times: In a sign of just how bad congressional dysfunction has gotten, Senate Republicans on Tuesday blocked the advancement of a transportation bill, a piece of legislation that traditionally has enjoyed broad bipartisan support.
The vote was 52-44, short of the 60 needed to take up the bill.
This is the bill to which Republicans tried to attach the Blunt Amendment in their ongoing War on Women. Unless they get to trash women’s rights, they refuse to help the nation.

As much as the Republians wish to destory this country by trashing our infrastructure and women in it. The more there leader rush limbaugh will become obsolete. Progress comes slow. But which is true and will come if Obama keeps the WhiteHouse we just might see the frist Women President in 2016. Our infrastructure will begin to heal. Just in time.

The minute I saw the Limbaugh update, I started humming that song “Nothing could be finer than to be in Carolina in the morning . . .” don’t know the rest of the words but I found myself trying to put a line together about the quiet airwaves! Just looking forward to the day when Limbaugh does the limbo and falls flat on his head and ass knocking himself out! Yes I know he is in Florida but I don’t know any Florida songs and I’m not a lyricist.
Fartfuhrer Walker is such a miserable piece of bear scat (at least the bear had the sense to eliminate him!). Caught on tape with his lies. I did notice that he has quite a little bald spot, I wonder if he got that tonsure in the medieval priesthood? It doesn’t seem as big now so must have had hair plugs. Could that have screwed up his brain a bit?
The holdup on the transportation bill is nothing short of Republican obstructionism. There will be nothing accomplished until the influence of the Republican/Teabaggers is put in its rightful place — the nearest file 13 (waste basket — toxic waste basket — no recycling of this crap!)
Cartoon — Oh too true! I heard that the governor of Indiana I think said ‘no’ to disaster relief after the twisters but finally a day later was asking for help. I believe that he gave the lame ass excuse that he hadn’t seen everything but he shouldn’t have needed too. Just being Republican/Teabagger and following some of the rhetoric from last year after a number of hurricanes decimated parts of the east coast. If there were any doubts about what the GOP cares about, there shouldn’t be any more.
Maybe one day, the GOP will realise that if you don’t take care of the infastructure, there won’t be a viable economy because goods and services won’t be able to move as needed.
