Yesterday I had a bad air day,  the heat and humidity set off my COPD.  Running my errands wiped me out.  Nevertheless, I’m up to date on replies, although there were lots of comments to answer.  I never mind that!  Today’s schedule depends on how I feel.

Jig Zone Puzzle:

Today it took me 3:34 (average 4:44).  To do it, click here.  How did you do?

Short Takes:

From BuzzFlash: When Scott Walker tried to attend a picnic.

The people chased him away!

From LA Times: With California’s new fiscal year starting Friday and no compromise with the GOP on a budget in sight, Gov. Jerry Brown’s chief spokesman called Sacramento Republicans "basically moronic" for failing to strike an agreement.

Right on, Governor Moonbeam!

From San Francisco Chronicle:

Rod Blagojevich, who won two terms as Illinois governor before scandal made him a national punch line, was convicted Monday of corruption charges, including trying to sell President Obama’s Senate seat.

I’m amazed it took so long!

  1. 3:39 Close but no cigar! I am 58 out of 179 (324).

  2. 4:32

    Great video!

Scotty, Scotty, Scotty! I think the people want you to beam back from whence you came.

    3 cheers for Gov. Moonbeam!!!

  3. Goddam Wisconsin Republicans!

  4. OMG that was funny. They are just waiting for January so they can recall him. Hilarious – good for my next door neighbor state of Wisconsin for doing the right thing! πŸ˜†

I always liked Jerry Brown and I’m happy that he’s governor again. And he’s absolutely right about the the Repubs! πŸ˜‰

So we have a hat trick here in IL – our last 3 governors are now in jail. Quinn has an IQ of about 30, so it’s hard to see him going to jail. Our state is so corrupt, we make NY look like pansies. πŸ™„

I almost asked where’s Ryan, but then I found him – that was like “where’s Waldo” of Repubs – hilarious!

  5. Was he the scurvy look’n SOB in the white shirt? Wern’t there any ta’maters at that picknik? 😈
