It’s no secret that Republicans hate America’s workers or that they will declare open warfare on unions, wherever Republicans are in power. In New Jersey, Chris Christie scored a major victory against workers, raiding their wallets and killing their right to bargain collectively. The Republicans goose-stepped in lock-step, as usual. Sadly, a few DINO’s goose-stepped with them.
The New Jersey Assembly has passed landmark employee benefits legislation requiring public workers to pay sharply more for pension and health benefits.
The divisive bill passed 46-32 Thursday with support from all Republicans who were present and a smattering of Democrats.
The Senate approved the bill Monday.
Republican Gov. Chris Christie is expected to quickly sign it.
The measure requires 500,000 teachers, police, firefighters and other public workers to pay a portion of their health insurance based on income. It also increases pension contributions… [emphasis added]

This bill takes almost 10% from the paycheck of a worker making $65,000, eliminates collective bargaining rights, and even strips the COLA’s from the pensions of state workers that have already retired, violating their contracts with and obligations to them.
Ed Schultz explains the changes in detail, and interviews Heddy Rosenstein, a union official.

Who can blame the unions for wanting to provide no support for those few Democrats that betrayed them. All should be defeated in primaries.

This guy is moral and ideological thug. I think he thinks he’s Tony Soprano. I used to not advocate for national strikes because of at will employment but I am coming around to the idea and not just for a day either but an honest to God strike. Sit down outside the gates and office doors and et no commerce happen until the government is forced to call out the army against the people.
That’s it Mark. He reminds me of the pig in Animal Farm.
Christie keeps saying it was a bi-partisan effort in all his interviews. True Dems never would have supported this atrocity against workers. Do you think the people realize what they did in the last election yet?
The NJ Democratic Party Chair said that it;s because the Democrats are a “big tent” party. If so, it’s time to shrink the tent.
This is (sadly) the future of political leadership in America. Unless Americans stop voting for theses fools that will destroy American government,
Quick thinking by the lard ass! 😈
