Yesterday I slept until noon, did some paperwork and went out to run errands. Today I have more errands and projects to work on, but I am up to date with comments.
Jig Zone Puzzle:
Today it took me 3:43 (average 5:06). To do it, click here. How did you do?
Short Takes:
From Marketplace: The justices [SCOTUS] have to decide whether nuisance lawsuits can be filed against power companies over greenhouse gas emissions…
…This case pits a coalition of states and private land trusts against some of the country’s biggest coal-burning utilities. In 2004, the plaintiffs sued the power companies under federal nuisance laws.
This could be huge. The Times even has an editorial about it. Precedent strongly favors the plaintiffs. The fascist four strongly favor corporate pigs.
From Statesman Journal: A few hundred people showed up this afternoon on the Capitol steps to back restoration of Oregon driver’s licenses without proof of legal presence.
Undocumented workers are going to be here regardless. Since they will, I’d prefer that they know how to drive better.
From TPM: Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice David Prosser held a press conference at the state Capitol on Monday, in which he declared victory in his reelection race — and at which his campaign advisers said they would object to any recount that might be requested by Prosser’s opponent, Assistant Attorney General JoAnne Kloppenburg.
Just like in 2000, Republicans hate recounts. They tend to expose Republican election theft.
Cartoon:
Tuesday is give a Republican a skunk day. (That was not intended to be a factual statement.)

And in the “EWWWWW … YUCK!!!” Department, Trump says he would consider dating his daughter – if she weren’t his daughter:

He was also born in South Africa so he is not eligible to be president. 😈
LOL!! Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!
Yuck is right! A while back, a 21 year old gal in my building adopted me as a father figure, and after awhile started hinting that she was “available”. It was great for my ego, and she was gorgeous, but I backed off before anything started. Our backgrounds and life experiences are so different, that there was no basis for anything real.
“Real” isn’t all that it is cracked up to be. 🙄
3:55 Not quite quick enough. I’m 40 out of 109 (367).
You’ll have another run.
