An interesting conundrum. Personally I’d at least consider granting immunity to Bannon & Junior – simply because I find it hard to believe they could keep from lying and perjuring themselves.
Lying is in their DNA – they simply are incapable of telling the truth.

I think Beau is way too optimistic in appealing to people’s pocketbooks WRT energy bills & environmentally friendly sources.
Just look at how many folks voted AGAINST their own interests in 2020 by casting their ballot for TFG!
I think Beau is right, except for one thing — that telling people the truth is not the same as getting them to believe it. (And that also explains your true statement that people voted against their own interests. They do not think “their own interests” means what you think it means.)
It’s terribly obvious now, because the rabbit hole has gotten so deep and broad. But there was always a rabbit hole on what constitutes “one’s own interests.”
P. S. I think you will like the Catsody, even without being able to hear the music. The CC was installed by the parodist so it is accurate, and it is very legible And I know you know the original well.
