Glenn Kirschner – Senate Report Reveals More Trump Election Crimes; What Congress Should Do About Witness in Contempt
Steve Schmidt on Deadline White House – I looked on YouTube and couldn’t find it.
Steve Schmidt perfectly nails Mitch McConnell’s game on #DeadlineWH , “Mitch Mcconnell and the Republicans want to create chaos. And then they will run on turning that chaos into restoring what was not broken before they broke it. It’s extremely, extremely cynical.” pic.twitter.com/TiPVKYm7Wk

Senate Report Reveals More Trump Election Crimes …
I fear one of the DOJ’s & our nation’s biggest obstacles in holding TFG accountable for his many crimes is the problem that after literally decades of Trump’s committing crimes, we’ve become inured to them.
There should be nationwide outrage at his blatantly violating our Constitution – but sadly, I don’t see it.
Quotes McConnell to Prove Voting Rights Are Bipartisan
But ONLY when it suits McTurtle’s & the GQP’s interests.
Two Strategies The GOP Will Use To Steal 2024 Election
I think there are more than two, but the question is will the country actually tolerate this outright coup? Other than Dubya’s “flukey” win in 2004 because of 9/11, the republicans haven’t won the popular vote since 1988!
… Idaho and republican divisions….
Idaho is a very, VERY strange state! Not sure how many generalities can be drawn from it.
I think there is more outrage than we are seeing … their side is so loud (and violent) it drowns everything else out.
Comment from Mitch:
Glenn: Trump is not JUST “weaponizig the courts,” he is keeping his adoring crowd, his core supporters, fed! Even I am getting a bit antsy about all the things that Glenn can “…almost promise you!”Steve Schmidt: SOP for the GOP.
PolitisRus: McTurtle does not give a damn, imho. He likes to play brinksmanship, gets a twisted thrill, I suppose.
DD: Once again, McTurtle will not give a damn about what he said previously.
TH: Bill Barr needs to be indicted!
CF: Tucker is hugely dangerous, but we know that.
Beau: But, does she know it will make her look bad, or is this the opening salvo in her campaign, kissing up to the Idaho crazies? It could already be too late for the GOP; so sad, thoughts and prayers.
Mitch
The GOP created the illusion of unity for decades following that “eleventh commandment.” It worked well for them. However, it’s clear that “what works” is changing. These days, one cannot really know whether something is going to work without trying it. And then there’s that problem about the messenger vs. the message. What works for one person might not work for another, even in the same party, in the same state, in the same community.
JM: I agree with Nameless; the DOJ is severely lacking and we’re not the only ones thinking that way. Merrick Garland thinks he’s being neutral in the face of Trump’s crimes. He’s wrong — he’s being complicit.
DWH: No stranger to convoluted sentences myself, it still took me several readings before I understood its meaning. But now I’ve got it and Stev Schmidt’s absolutely right.
PRU: An excellent ad; if people would only watch it. McConnell is only refusing to raise it to give himself some leverage, it is something he’s used as a tool blackmailing Democrats before. Beau will give us more on that in the coming days, I expect.
RU: D: versus R: 🙊🙉🙈
TH: The last two strategies are to be employed after the election is lost by the GQP. There must be at least half a dozen other than those that are employed before the election, such as voter suppression and gerrymandering, and probably a number during the election too.
RA: There’s no need to hide it any longer, White Supremacists like Tucker can do whatever they like and say whatever they like. Who is going to stop them?
Beau: The good people of Idaho will probably vote for either of them. They don’t care as long as their governor is a Republican.
TH – Armed poll watchers have been proposed…
