In March, Politics Plus set new record for activity, topping our previous high last June. Thank you so much for making that happen.
Here are our basic stats:
Here is our most recent Clustrmap, last updated on March 30.
Our Clustrmap reset the morning of 2/28, starting over from scratch, so the above map represents just one month’s traffic. The largest circles represent over 1,000n visits. The tiniest represent one to ten.
Our durations were up from 159 seconds last month:

There’s some linkey-love in return The best ways you can publicize Politics Plus is to use the share button at the bottom of each post to list our articles on the the sites where you belong, and to quote PP articles on your own blogs. The operative commandment here is “thou shalt steal.” We’re on the same side here, so I won’t mind. Even if you want to repost a whole article, that’s OK. Just link back, please. Also, feel free to swipe the graphics.
Technorati was strange again last month. In spite of great statistical record our authority is down in Global and World, but up in Politics and US Politics. Globally, we’re back to the B list. I still have absolutely no idea why.
- Global 445 (rank 4,825)
- US politics 534 (rank 163)
- Politics 512 (rank 247)
- World 124 (rank 634)
We have 289,640 links on other websites, down from 385,203 last month.
We have 2,133 posts and 16,193 comments, as of midnight 4/1.
We have new wacky avatars, and I’ll change them each month, but I recommend your own avatar. Go to Gravatar. Sign up using the email address you use to post comments here and upload the image you want to use. Whenever you comment under that e mail address here or on any WordPress blog (several others too), that will be your avatar.
I have to admit that the stunning numbers we have this month caught me by surprise. We did have one somewhat viral article. My evaluation of Obama’s Libya speech had over 10,000 views. I haven’t been doing anything different, so as I see it, the difference has to be you. Your participation is what makes this blog worth reading, not to mention worth writing. Congratulations and thank you.

NO thank you for the great articles and commentaries…..CONGRATS from me to you :-}
Welcome Angel! 🙂
Thank you!
I think your new activity record is a result of the worldwide interest in our competition with the puzzles. 😆
Shhhh! They’re not supposed to know that! 🙄
Cool for you! 😀
Thanks Bee!
I wouldn’t give too much weight to Technorati; I used to pay attention to them, but I saw them do what you’re talking about too many times. These days I just watch the uniques every day, and from that perspective we ain’t doing bad. Bing seems to love us too 🙂
Good point, Jerry. We run over 1,000 uniques daily.
