It took a lifetime to put this amazing one-of-a-kind puzzle together – and they’ll never be another one like it.

And fortunately, he had some wonderful help along the way.

Rest in Peace, dear, dear TomCat.  You’ve earned it, my friend!

  1. Such a wonderful and sweet post!  The pictures are one in a million re: TC, Wendy, and pup.
Tom was a dear Friend, a Mentor, and a true Gentleman.   A kind and caring man. I miss him, and I will cherish his memory.  Tom, you’ve earned your Wings!! Good Bye, dear Friend.

Such a fitting tribute to TomCat!!
Thank you so much, Nameless for posting.

    •  His Journey’s Just Begun by Ellen Brenneman
“Don’t think of him as gone away his journey’s just begun, life holds so many facets this earth is only one.

Just think of him as resting from the sorrows and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years.

Think how he must be wishing that we could know today how nothing but our sadness can really pass away.

And think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched… for nothing loved is ever lost and he was loved so much.”      20   20

  2. Thank you, Nameless, for the kind of tribute only you can create.  It is beautiful – as was TomCat.  Right now I can’t see to type more.

  5. Thank you, wonderful post……….

  6. Wow. I actually never knew his name other than TomCat. My husband’s name was Tom. They called him “Tomcat” all the time. Thank you for posting this. I just found out today. I didn’t know that he was gone and I am just torn to pieces. He was a brilliant man and he is gonna be missed by a multitude of people, some he didn’t even know. Wish I could’ve at least met him. He was an inspiration to me to get out of bed every day. I had a wreck in ‘95 that left me disabled and mad at the world. But Tom let me rant and got me back on track. After my husband died in ‘18, he helped me so much! I was just blowin in the wind and he brought me back to earth. I lost track of him when C2 disbanded. Couldn’t find anything about him anywhere on my phone. Something happened. Either I got a new phone or I cleared history and lost ALL C2 contacts and I couldn’t find anything or anyone that even knew him. 😢 I didn’t even know about the cancer or was so bumfuzzled that I don’t remember it. Anyway, I want to thank you for posting this and maybe I can find PP easier now, but ol’ TC is writing one on the other side! Stay with it, guys!

    • We’ve missed you, Vivian.  Glad to see you even under these circumstances.  I send out a weekly email called “New Posts on TomCat’s blog,” and that won’t change – it’s still his blog, even though we are carrying it on without his physical presence.  I’ll make sure you are on the list to keep getting it.  Don’t be a stranger!
