JM: Garland stepped up to the plate and hit a ball that might end up outside the ballpark when they find the evidence they need to convict Giuliani. I’d hesitate to condemn fine upstanding investigators to that task – they shouldn’t have tostink for months for evidence they can’t even take into court because it’s so repulsive. But yes.
Someone elsewhere suggested he’s had time to get rid of it – I think he’s not only too dumb to think of it, he’s also too dumb to do it thoroughly. Look at that dude who thought he could stay uncaught after the Jan 6 insurrection by resetting his phone to factory settings.
