Government-condoned White Supremacist violence has been on the rise since the day a black man stepped into the White House and the GOP has gone out of its way to stoke the fire.
C&M: I must agree with Nameless; it is amazing how much of the behaviour of cats is hard-wired. And what’s even more amazing, despite all the hard-wiring each cat is a unique personality with its own ‘scientific approach’.
Beau: Don’t you love a man who is a feminist? I say that because he brings everything back to a situation of equality. He explains perfectly how not to bring people – man, woman or child – in a vulnerable position and how not to take advantage of it. The one thing I wasn’t too happy with was his suggestion to bring HR in whenever a ‘behind closed doors’ situation came up. A lot of HR officers are women themselves and getting them involved would throw the burden back on women to prevent vulnerable situations. Besides, I’m sure there isn’t enough HR to go around to sit in and do their usual work too.
The primary legitimate reason for closed doors that I can think of would be to administer a verbal reprimand, One would hope that wouldn’t happen terribly often. And, yes, some HR ane female, and also are some bosses. The presence of HR would be intended to protect both boss and underling.
