Hi, SpyKat ……. It’s been a nasty few days here weather wise… Advisories started last Sat/Sunday with snow, sleet, rain and ice. The power was off and on all week, outages county wide too. Last night was the first night that the power stayed on till morning. Thankful that we have water too, some parts of the town don’t. Ice all around, and it’s snowing right now. I’m not driving in this weather! Thank you for asking.

I spoke to an cousin near Austin, yesterday, who said that they’d had power outages on and off, as well. However, his sister in austin, proper, had had no power for a solid 2 days.

You are right – but I would feel sorry for Mexico. For one thing, his being there would keep people away in droves, and Cancun is a major tourist site and vital to their economy.
Hope you can get some rest today and start feeling a little better as the day goes on. Please make sure that your keeping up with fluid intact. so you don’t become dehydrated.
