MT: Centrists are only starting to think about leaving and cautiously start talks about starting a new party. They should take lessons from the Dutch. They have new parties pop up overnight like mushrooms whenever a new election is nigh. At the moment the Dutch have 37, a record, to choose from on March 17th. Ridiculous, but so is only two or three in name to choose from.
RR: Robert says it all. There is no centre to the Republican Party Biden could possibly work with, not even after the necessary healing through accountability has taken place.

DM: Ouch indeed. A harsh reality translated into Trumpian lingo so anyone can understand what he’s talking about. The bottom line being hustle, scam and money, of course.
Beau1: Good news; oil production will deteriorate further from now on. Bad news; It’s Royal Dutch Shell saying it. But the intentions to do something about climate change are there. Plans not so much.
Beau2: I’d already read Trump’s love-letter to Mitch McConnell, but happily joined in Beau’s glee about it again. Sadly, it doesn’t matter what Beau, we or even McConnell think about that letter, Trump’s dumb hordes will hear it exactly the way Trump wants them to understand it and they themselves want to be fooled.

The McConnell Love Letter is the one I was going to post, then attempted to bump it for the survival one, and – erred. It’s the survival one in now … but you don’t need it in Oz this time of the year. you might want to glance at it if it ever does get really cold where you are.
