GK: In a very lawyerly way, Mr Kirschner makes a clear-cut case for Trump’s seditious conspiracy. I’m sure Trump’s trial for his second impeacment will hinge on this. In a normal trial, Trump would without doubt be convited. But when 50% of the judges are Republicans, of whom a number should be convited of seditious conspiracy themselves, there isn’t a chance in hell Trump is going to get a ‘fair’ hearing, i.e. Republicans will refuse to hear and acknowledge the truth.
Playbook: Again a ver good lesson but to someone on the left, i.e. me, also a little discouraging and depressing. It seems the left can’t ever win because we inherently aren’t as mean and devious as the (extreme) right. Our ‘meanness’ doesn’t amout to more than bad people on the left hurting people further on the left. This may be the reason why extremists on the left do not form discernable groups with leaderships like they do on the other side of the spectrum, like the Proud Boys or the KKK, and are scooped together under Antifa to ‘counter-balance’ Alt-Right.

Tennessee Williams would have found Zuckerberg’s name highly appropriate. To him, white was the color od evil, and anything white was not to be trusted. And he explicitly extended that to sugar at least once that I know of (in “Suddenly Last Summer.”)
