Not much dialogue, but – Trump: If you take a look at the states we’ve won, and then look at the margins we won them by, frankly, we did win this election. Biden: Will you shut up, man. Obama: We can’t just imagine a better future. We’ve got to fight for it. Sanders: Is that everyone? Yang: What, you wanted more? Biden: Now, every vote must be counted. No one’s going to take our democracy away from us….Avengers!

I have not finished watching all yet but I noticed this one at the end of Avengers: Endgame. You have to figure that a proud Canuck would agree with this man’s sentiments! And although Canada has a left of centre government, the Province of BC does have a social democrat government with a majority (newly re-elected).
I saw this too and also loved it. I’m not sure why I didn’t add it – but I do know that’s why I started checking “Open Thread” along with “Politics” as a category – so that people who find something I missed can add it. Thanks for this one!
(And to anyone who doesn’t want to cope with embedding, give us a link and if at all possible an administrator will change it to an embed when we see it.)

(I despise that little prick for what’s he allowed Facebook to become: A glorified 4 Chan & 8 Chan social media purveyor for the KKK, white supremacists, QAnon, Trumpkins, etc.)
I couldn’t agree with you more on Zuckerberg. (I hope I gave you enough dialog to enjoy the Avengers.)
The only reason Fuckerberg is apologizing now is that the Putin-Trump* money train has dried up. If the Reich gets a new Fuhrer, who loves treason, it will be business as usual. With Fakebook, the only way to win is not to play! UNPLUG!!
We had some big celebrations in Atlanta over the weekend. The beeping and cheering were non-stop!

While Channel 9 isn’t as (Murdoch) bad as Channel 10 or SKY because it goes free to air, it comes close, so I don’t watch it. ABC News is truly independent and my favourite. This video is a good example of 9News’ “friendly” approach of our right-wing government. Scomo, our PM Scott Morrison, held back very long with his reaction to the Biden/Harris win because he was great brown-nosed buddies with Trump, especially where climate-change denial was concerned. So Scomo was put under a lot of pressure from Labor to change his stance on emission targets now that Biden was elected. Nine’s “Scomo immediately congratulated Biden and invited him…” was pure fabrication, it took Scomo days to get over himself, mourn the loss of his buddy and congratulate Biden.
