Pretty well everything today is on CoViD-19. The Lincoln Project tweet is on health care in general, but that related to CoViD, certainly. At least thisis one issue they are not going to let us forget. The one from Republican Voters Against Trump I found particularly poignant, but all, I think, are good.

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
The knee-reflex action of Trump/Pence is to automatically call ANY aide who defects to Biden “Disgruntled”.
Given the reports of how slipshod and hateful Trump/Pence White House is run, it’s hard to believe that there are ANY “Gruntled” aides left!
OK, you sent me to the dictionary, where waht I found is not what I expected. In this word formation, which happened in the 17th century, the “dis” is an intensifier, not a negative. In other words, “disgruntled” employees are more gruntled than those who are simply “gruntled.” Under those circumstances, I would be inclined to suggest that all the ones who are left are indeed gruntled (since all the disgruntled ones report a general dissatisfaction among their former colleagues, who are just not quite gruntled enough to be disgruntled and leave.
However, “gruntle” does come from just where you probably think it does. Today we would say “whiny” or something of the sort. I like “whinybag” myself.
My goodness, this is a demoralizing bunch of videos, isn’t it? Not because these videos don’t tell the truth, but because they are.
It is. Sorry. I try to look for a little cheer but that doesn’t always happen.
Thanks for the collection Joanne! The cheer I have is that with yesterday afternoon, the smoke clearing out of CA finally happened for those of us in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains for the nonce (except for areas with active fire) here in the north–some of the Central Valley still has some from the fires to the two sides of them. The far north will get wind from the northeast and further south will be wind from the southeast and the forecasters aren’t predicting which will arrive to bring smoke back for those inbetween.Heard yesterday that Berlin was experiencing our orange sky, air and sun after the UK and NYC had already experienced it.
That is good news. I have more on this for tomorrow. Breathe as easy as you can.
