Origin – Trump NEVER wanted to investigate the Bidens. He wanted the Ukraine, or China, or anyone, to MAKE UP dirt on the Bidens. The CT is just an excuse (though he may well believe it.) I hope he’s no relation to Albert (who is probab;y spinning in his grave anyway just because the names are similar.) Paraphrasing C. S. Lewis, you can’t reason with a person who says there is an invisible cat in that chair. If you point out that you see nothing, the response it, that is exactly what you should expect to see if I am right. The absence of smoke proves that the fire is very well hidden.
Foster – Foster care has always been problematic. Even without racism. You can’t expect people to take over the stress and expense of caring for another human being with no help is not realistic. Yet any financial aid can also be abused. Especially wen not only foster parents but also social workers are in short supply. I really am impressed that Hatch and Wyden were able to agree on this – or anything, for that matter. You can’t get much farther right than Hatch, nor further left than Wyden. Kudos to both.
Ohio – Good points. And a good approach to keep in mind for other states. “There are thousands of communities just like this.”

Origin: Shameful what the idiot was asking of these foreign leaders/country. Glad to see that he’s the one who caused the entire mess that he’s in now. Hopefully this will finish him off.
Foster Care: Never was one with high regards to the way our state/county ran these programs. They place these kids in a home that the people are more for just getting paid, not for taking real care of the kids.

Sam 🐝: All book outlets, reviewers and media in general who categorise Schweizer’s books as non-fiction should be prosecuted.
Sam 🐝🐝: Racism seems to pervade everything nowadays, the clock having been turned back at least 60 years and while bringing new bi-partisan bills to the table to improve on foster care excellent in itself it only deals with the symptoms and not enough with the underlying course. Of course, foster care could vastly be improved upon but if racism is taken out of the equasion many other issues, like high incarceration rates for people of colour, would resolve itself more easily too.
