The Madness of the Fuhrer

I know I just wrote about this yesterday.  Nevertheless, the danger to the nation and to the world occasioned by the sociopathic state of Resident Donald Trump, Fuhrer of the Republicans Reich, continues to dominate the news.  The following article from Psychoanalyst Justin Frank, and an excellent video from Lawrence O’Donnell shed much more light on the subject.

[D]onald Trump is a living, breathing national emergency. Our president has repeatedly encouraged violence against his perceived enemies — and at least some of his supporters are following his lead. These are not isolated incidents. There are dozens of court cases where Donald Trump has been cited for “inspiring” acts of violence and other crimes. There are also the most odious examples such as the recent white supremacist terror attack in El Paso in which the alleged mass murderer wrote an online “manifesto” that almost verbatim channeled Trump’s threatening rhetoric towards nonwhite people.

In response to the white supremacist terrorist attack in El Paso and another mass shooting that same weekend in Dayton, Ohio, Trump specifically avoided a message of healing in a country reeling from multiple mass murders. Instead, Trump participated in ghoulish, vainglorious photo-ops at hospitals where the dying and injured were cared for after these incidents. Incapable of grace or dignity, Donald Trump lashed out at his political opponents. He even insulted the Republican mayor of El Paso during his visit to that city, calling him a “RINO” because he dared to push back against Trump’s disparaging comments about the city.

Donald Trump has publicly lied more than 12,000 times since becoming president, an average of 13 lies a day. These lies have created a cult-like alternate reality for Trump and his supporters…

…Donald Trump’s father always wanted him to be a killer. So psychologically Donald Trump functions like a killer — but he doesn’t kill directly. Donald Trump has other people that do it. In America there is an epidemic of violence about to happen because of Donald Trump. Donald Trump has to be quarantined to stop it….

President Donald Trump’s Actions Create Obstacles For Trump Campaign

Sadly, the reason Republicans chose Trump as their Fuhrer is that he is an exact reflection of who and what they are.   Pence is as bad or worse.

  1. Excellent post to which I can’t add anything that we don’t already know of Der Führer.
I do like Rick Wilson’s words of identifying dt as “a spoiled little brat!”
    Stephen Miller is dangerous, imho.
    Good video.

  2. George III had the excuse of (at least for pretty sure) having porphyria (untreated because not understood at the time.) Donald Trump doesn’t have prophyria any more than he has bone spurs. In oe way he’s not even crazy – but he has embraced evil, and it has embraced him, and it would not let him go even if he wanted to. But he doesn’t.

I know there are people, lots of them, screaming “impeach” and “open an impeachment inquiry, in ignorance of the fact the ONE IS ALREADY OPEN. I did expect better of Lawrence. If we are going to keep screaming, couldn’t we scream for opening a second investigation in a different committee? Not that that might be an improvement necessarily, but at the very least it could open up a discusion on what is in fact happening.

  3. Yesterday I mentioned antisocial personality disorder. This disorder combines aspects of both sociopathy and psychopathy. This describes Trump perfectly. I struggled with what he was a sociopath or a psychopath, well, he’s actually both. This article is what I was referring to.
It’s dangerous, it doesn’t get better, it only gets worse. I’ve not been pro 25th Amendment until now. Primarily because that gives us Pence, but I really believe that would be only for the remainder of this term because 2020 is going to see a massive change in the House and Senate. Yes, there are people who support Trump and will, but they are nowhere near a majority anywhere, not even in states he won big in 2016. This is not a man who should have any kind of power. He’s clinical and a danger to us all, to the world, really. His party needs a whacking so hard that they find their way back to honest conservative principles. They’ve been wandering in the wilderness a long time. The reality check that 2020 will be, I hope, allows the wing of the party capable of reason to assert itself and take the party back to sanity.
Everything we’ve seen and heard from Trump in his increasing madness is simply unacceptable. I happen agree to with those who want an amendment reforming our electoral system from what was reasonable in the beginning to the popular vote. That is not an insane idea. It will not mean smaller states have no voice, one person, one vote means everyone has a voice. Bill Maher’s reference last week to the fact that California has 47 million people and Rhode Island one million but both have two Senators – that ought be part of the reform, but to assuage smaller states, maybe this has to happen in stages. But reform is needed. That requires 2020 to be the disaster that it is going to be.

  4. I do not see any way in which Dumpy is not crazy.  His emptiness, hatred, the consequent inability to monitor what he does and says, to care about the consequences of his words, or acts, and need for approval, drives everything he does.  Schizophrenics have times of clarity, he does not, they do not hate, he does; in spades!

  5. The Tangerine Troglodyte is mad in all of the bad ways, and utterly incompetent to boot. Let us hope that we can kick his fat orange arse out of the Oval Office as soon as possible, whether by impeachment or the ballot box. He is a drag on not just the USA but the entire world, and a threat to civilization.

  6. Agree with others that he is mentally disturbed/crazy.
It’s keeps getting worse each and every day that he tweets or opens his flipping mouth.
I pray that we will get him out of office mighty soon, before he destroys our country.

  7. His lunacy keeps on getting worse. First, he was “the Chosen One” to take on China, next he tweeted “Our great American companies are hereby ordered [emphasis mine] to immediately start looking for an alternative to China, including bringing … your companies HOME and making your products in the USA. I will be responding to China’s Tariffs this afternoon.” and following up with another tit-for-tat additional 5 per cent duty on $US550 billion ($814 billion) in targeted Chinese goods, all in a in response to China announcing new tariffs on $US75 billion of US products. China is playing a game of chicken with a lunatic and the whole world is heading straight into a recession.

  8. Trump is evil!

  9. Thanks and weekend hugs to all. 22
