It’s that time of week again, so here are four fine video clips from Bill’s show last night. Enjoy!
Monologue: Tragedy Meets Trump
Trump doesn’t console. Trump does ass-sole.
Gov. Terry McAuliffe: Beyond Charlottesville
We need paper ballots EVERYWHERE! He’s too centrist for my tastes, but we ALL need to band together to defeat the Republican Reich and sweep them from power across the board.
Although the Saudis allow women to go out without a guardian, I doubt Republicans will change their mind about allowing women to wear shoes.
I believe that liberals evolve. I know I did. On the other hand, Republicans devolve.
Bill was funnier than usual.
RESIST!!

W/watch ltr.
Thanks, Tom.
Bill – Monologue – Bill is not the first with the “I must have died and now I’m in hell” quip – but it certainly is accurate. I take issue with the statement that everyone in Congress is paralyzed – however, enough are to immobilize the whole body – hell, just Mitch would be enough to do that.
McAuliffe – If my memory is correct (it probably isn’t), the last time NC had a Democratic Governor his name was also Terry – Terry Sanford. Is that the secret? But seriously, it is definitely past time that #MoscowMitch brought something to the floor besides his shoulder. I could not agree with you more on paper ballots. WRT candidates, you don’t generally show overtime, but I have read that, during Overtime, Scaramucci opined that it is the younger candidates who are the biggest threat to Traitor Tot, and that the Democrats do better with younger candidates. Besides the fact that the Mooch is an idiot, I’d hate to have to make decisions like this on grounds like that.
Engel – A lot of stuff in here. But what strikes me is, if we didn’t want to have a “problem” with immigrants “invading” (who are actually refugees), they why in heaven’s name did we spend so many years destabilizing and destroying Latin American governments, thus, by our direct action, creating situations from which people need to flee? Or are we that stupid that we just didn’t see it coming? (Probably.) And we are STILL doing it. The School of the Americas, which trains thugs, has changed its name, but, as WHINSEC, it’s still alive and well. And I can make the argument that by meddling in the Middle East we have crated the same situation for Europe – although there we had help from the Europeans.
New Rules – There is a difference between having been ignorant in the seventies ad now having learned, and having been ignorant in the seventies and still being ignorant.
None of the El Paso shooting victims in the hospital wanted to meet with tRump? Gee, I wonder why.
And, SCOTUS star, Thomas was quoted, some years ago insisting that “I am not going to evolve!” Well, that would fit anyone as dumb as a bag of hammers!
Bill #1: It’s getting harder to make jokes after a week with two mass shootings back to back, isn’t it. I expected the clue of the Tucker White Nationalist joke to be Tucker looking in the mirror, but interviewing was just as good.
Bill #4: Bill makes a good point here, it is wrong to judge people by our current norms for things they did 40 or 50 years ago, but only if they have truly evolved in their way of thinking and not just adopt the current norms because that’s politically opportune.
Great show.
Monologue: Awful to think it had to be about senseless killings again.
Wasn’t too happy to hear that the Scaramucci still loves tRump.
Thanks and rushed hugs.
