It’s a cooler but muggy day here in the CatBox. It will also be busy, because tomorrow is Easter and a WWWendy day. I got her some Cadbury Carmel Eggs. She will love/hate them. ๐
Jig Zone Puzzle:
Today’s took me 3:00 (average 4:58). To do it, click here. How did you do?
Short Takes:
From YouTube (Media Matters Channel): Fox News can’t stop screaming “no collusion” even though the Mueller report doesn’t address it
Barf Bag Alert!!
What else could anyone expect from the Republican Reichsministry of Propaganda, Faux Noise? RESIST!!
From YouTube (MSNBC Channel): Senator Elizabeth Warren First 2020 Candidate To Call For Impeachment
I have to agree with her. Yesterday I said that, whether or not we actually Impeach Putin’s Pet Pervert, we should begin the investigation. If the House presents the case well enough, voting against impeachment could be career ending for Republican Senators. RESIST!!
From The New Yorker: Reacting to the journalist April Ryanโs call for her to be fired, the White House press secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, said, on Friday, that she has been the victim of the mediaโs โwidespread anti-liar bias.โ
โFrom their obsession with fact-checking to their relentless attacks on falsehoods, the media have made no secret of their bias,โ Sanders said. โItโs open season on liars in America.โ
โThis is media hypocrisy at its very worst,โ she added. โThe same journalists who advocate freedom of speech want to take that freedom away from anyone whose speech consists entirely of lies.โ
Dang, Andy! That would be the most truthful thing she’s ever said. RESIST!!

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
5:49 Won’t be tasty, I fear.
MM – Heck, they’d be screaming that if the Report had included 37 indictments. They don’t live in the real world at all.
MSNBC – Considering that the Report may be summarized: “Dear Congress, this is your job. Please do it,” I’m not sure why everyone is’t saying this, unless it’s because some in Congress actually have started and are doing it already.
TNY – I can think of a number of snarky things to say about this, but unfortunately, it’s all too real a problem.
Cartoon – But it’s only ten more days till OUR holiday.
Faux: If it were the other way around, they’d be pitching a fit !! 2 minutes of watching this, and my brain is reeling, from the lies. Which, btw…they are very deceptive…
MSNBC: Her argument is noteworthy, and to start the proceedings for impeachment. He should have never been elected, the R’s need to grow a spine, and stand up against this bogus potus. (which they won’t). imho.
NYer: Gawd, this would be hilarious (it is), if it wasn’t so true. She should be fired, as with the rest of them in the WH.
Cartoon: Not good, ugh!
Hi WWWendy, hope that you have a good Easter. Tomorrow is a busy day here too, with the Easter Bunny hiding eggs for the little ones. Love the excitement they show with this activity. Then a dinner to follow. Hope that you have a good rest of your day, take good care, and Happy Easter to all. Thanks, Tom.
*This just in: “Heavy weighs the Crown.” ~ Rob M. ~
MMC: Foolish idiots, after all the evil ones it found and took down, they still praise their evil leader. His day is coming and they will be singing a different tune.I pray it’s soon.
MSNBC: They need to NOW. It’s long overdue. Our country has suffered enough.
TNY: Agree with Pat that besides sArah, all employees of the W H. need to be fired.Cartoon: Not good.
3:49 Doesn’t look very tasty, that paper Easter Bunny, does it?
MM: Faux News can’t scream anything else than “No collusion”, not really. As soon as they get to anything else in Barr’s summary or redacted version they have to show that Drumpf was not exonerated and in fact was practically nailed to the wall by Mueller for obstruction of justice.
MSNBC: Elizabeth Warren is right in so far that starting impeachment procedures is a point of principle that need to be adhered to in any self-respecting democracy. If Congress doesn’t follow through, then, on top of two previous years of enabling a dictator in spe by not doing its oversight job, it will further undermine itself by giving licence to the next presidents to abuse the presidential office. A laudable standpoint. However, if it is a politically opportune standpoint, is a question yet to be answered and that may well be a question which will become a point of contrition among Democrats and further divide the party, and its voters.
TNY: What were you doing inside Huckabee-Sanders’ head, Andy? And more importantly, how did you manage to survive that cauldron of lies, alter reality and self abasement and come out sane?
Cartoon: You better be careful, TomCat. Big Brother may be getting alarmed by the number of Hitler and Nazi pictures you post on this site lately ๐ Hmm…on further thought, don’t worry. They only pay attention when you post in Arabic or pictures of Jihad/Da’esh, no matter the context
Of course the Rethuglicanazis and their stooges are crowing “No collusion!” and “Trump is exonerated!” They have seen only the shredded remains of Mueller’s report. Does anybody really think that Barrf is going to let Congress – let alone the general public – see anything that incriminates his lord and master? This is why we need to demand that the FULL, unedited report be made available to all who want to read it.
Puzzle — 5:17 That rabbit is too fast for me!
Media Matters — Obviously Faux cannot read nor does it understand the law! The Mueller Report does not say “no obstruction”. Instead it lays out a path to prosecution for others — example, the Congress — to take since DOJ policy is a sitting president cannot be indicted. In addition, Nicole Wallace noted that the report does not even mention the phrase “no collusion” while Ari Melber mentions the word “conspiracy”. But Faux will continue to harp “no collusion” to convince the sheeple. What a pile of BS!
MSNBC — Get going on the congressional investigation for impeachment. Even if it is not finished before the election, there will be plenty of information out there for voters to use to inform their vote. I don’t imagine that there will be many Senate Republicans who will vote to impeach . . . but if they don’t, they could certainly lose their senate seat.
The New Yorker — Get your hipwaders on . . . Sarah is at it again . . . or is it still?
Cartoon — Donald sends his regards!
I’ll bet that those caramel eggs will be just lovely because they came from you and they taste wonderful. The deleterious effect on the hips might make Wendy cringe momentarily.
Thanks and hurried Hugs to all.
