It’s that time of week again, and here are three excellent video clips from Sam’s show last night. Enjoy!
Dang! I know where it is! At least I used to know. But I support the Green New Deal anyway!
I’m thicc? Dang! I thought I was fat! Seriously true beauty comes from the book, not from the cover.
I grind my own coffee from whole beans. As my Valentine for Howard Schultz, I switched to Kivu.
Happy Valentines Day Sam!
RESIST!!

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
To those howling about the expense of the Green New Deal: Have you taken a good look at the US Defense budget lately? Or the recent audit of the Pentagon? Or all those idiotic and foolish tax breaks for the 1% fat cats? (Sorry, cats – it’s just an idiom.) You want trillions? I’ll show you trillions! I wouldn’t be surprised if people spewed propaganda to oppose FDR’s New Deal back in the day. And I’m not surprised that the Faux News banana brains are belching their bull-oney.
If we do have to send people to the Moon in order for humanity to survive, let’s send only working-class folks who care about ecosystems, and let the corporate ogres stew in their own toxic juice. That will save room for animals (we’ll need a lot more than two of each kind!) and all the books, music and movies we should preserve.
OK, being a tub-tum is not the most healthful lifestyle, but that doesn’t give people the right to fat-shame. Should we skinny-shame instead? “Yo mama’s so skinny, she went to a protest and somebody taped a sign to her.” Yuk, yuk, yuk.
I hope that the horrid example the Orange Ogre has set will ensure no billionaire will ever run a successful Presidential campaign again – at least for the next century, if the USA lasts that long. People are entitled to earn money and get rich, but there is a limit!
Love Sam.
I’ll watch later, thx, !!
Act 1 – Not every man needs to know where it is. Some women do, but they probably do already, at least in principle. (I’m sure Sam and AOC both know that not everyone is straight, cis.)
Act 2 – I’m fat myself, and fortunately my doctor isn’t this bad – pretty good, actually. But it isn’t just fat people who are treated this way. Black people are too. Doctors, like almost everyone else in the culture have learned from the age of seven that black people feel pain less than white people (do I need to tell this audience this is false? I hope not. But it’s false.)
Act 3 – This is a mom-and-pop business which is very proud of its coffee beans. The website is still under construction, but there’s an address and a phone number and I’ll bet you could order without enriching any billionaires. Of course there may be one closer to you.
? ? ❤️
Sam #1: Call me crazy, but I happen to like the idea…especially as it causes apoplexy on the right! But, it causes apoplexy on the right precisely because it pushes against “business (corrupt business?) as usual.
Sam #2: Good points.
Sam#3: I expect that billionaires did not get that way by looking out for other people, something I think ought to be a strength in a wanna-be president’s resumé. Silly me. The (wonderful) political outsider thing ought to have been laid to rest by Drumph, but who knows?
Great videos. Sam stays on top of everything.
I’m for the Green Deal too. Agree with Freya, that they can cut back on the Defense budget.
People can be ugly with their words. When I see heavy people, I worry about their health. but I certainly have never been one to make fun of them. After my mother had heart surgery way back before I loss her, she had complications and had put on weight due to not being very mobile. But like Joanne points out, people tend to be the same about other issues, being too thin, racist, etc. People need to be caring not vicious.
Thanks for the ???. Hubby is back, but we’ve run out of bytes before the end of our contract month the day after tomorrow, so we’ll have to wait and view her together with Bill, perhaps?
Thanks and Hugs to all.
