From The New Yorker: In a potentially worrisome development for the White House, Donald Trump’s longtime political adviser Roger Stone spent the weekend getting a tattoo of the special counsel, Robert Mueller, on his back.
Minutes after being released on bail, Stone was reportedly driven to a tattoo-removal specialist in Jersey City, who spent nine hours removing his notorious back tattoo of Richard Nixon to make room for the newly minted Mueller tat.
News of Stone’s Mueller tattoo sent a wave of panic through the White House, where top aides attempted to predict what the tattoo portended for Stone’s loyalty to Trump going forward.

Other PP – Less funny than some, and more serious. Which is appropriate, given the importance of the issue.
RR – I’m grateful for any suggestions. I suspect people here were already on top of many of them. I don’t, incidentally, think that the failure of House Republicans to assign anyone to the Intelligence Committee is exactly just procedural, though. That concerns me.
TNY – ROTFL! Here’s the bottom line, though -Stone could get tattooed all over with Mueller’s face, but that would not make him a trustworthy or desirable witness. He will be lucky to be offered a plea bargain at all, and, if he is, it won’t be generous. Mueller is not stupid.

Green New Deal: Great ideas, if we can get it implemented. If we can get it implemented. First, we have to lay down the groundwork: Support and elect truly progressive candidates at the local and state as well as the national levels. Spread the news and get more people interested and involved. Be prepared to counter the inevitable B.S. that reich-wingers will spew.
To Reich’s seven ways I add #8: Keep raising hell! Sign petitions, contact your government representatives, write letters and e-mails, compose tweets, take part in demonstrations, donate to progressive organizations.
