From The Independent: The mother of a boy filmed harassing a Native American man along with his friends at a rally in Washington DC has blamed “black Muslims” for the confrontation, without providing any evidence for the claim.
The teenager was among a group of students wearing Make America Great Again hats who were criticised for intimidating the musician Nathan Phillips, surrounding him to jeer and chant “build the wall, build the wall”.
But his mother claimed “black Muslims” had been harassing the group of Donald Trump supporters from the private, all-male Covington Catholic High School in Kentucky.
Bullshit!! RESIST!!

President Trump on Saturday offered Democrats three years of deportation protections for some immigrants in exchange for $5.7 billion in border wall funding, a proposal immediately rejected by Democrats and derided by conservatives as amnesty.
Aiming to end the 29-day partial government shutdown, Trump outlined his plan in a White House address in which he sought to revive negotiations with Democrats, who responded that they would not engage in immigration talks until he reopened the government.
Trump proposed offering a reprieve on his attempts to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program and temporary protected status (TPS) for immigrants from some Latin American and African nations, in exchange for building hundreds of miles of barriers on the southern U.S. border and hiring thousands of new law enforcement agents to be deployed there.
Democrats are right to reject this. Trump killed DACA and TPS by executive order. Now, he’s offering only part of what he took away. That’s blackmail, not negotiation. RESIST!!

YouTube: I watched SNL and this certainly could be real.
The Independent: Sadly, these boys were from a Kentucky Catholic school and were there to protest abortions. The Covington Diocese is involved now and disciplinary actions are planned. Too bad they had been taught to be bigots before hand. Their parents are defending them, guess that is why they are the way they are.
Washington Post: I am glad the Democrats are not accepting this. Congress needs to do its job and McConnell needs to go.
4:53 It doesn’t SEEM to be toxic … although you might get a mouthful of insects depending on your timing.
I’ve often pointed out that is was basically Muslim medical research and techniques that allowed wypipo to survive the Middle Ages … but even I didn’t know this until now.
SNL – As George Takei would say, “Oh myyyy!” They are so on point it’s painful. I can’t even pick a favorite moment.
Independent – What I read was that the little terrorists were harassing the group of people of color (who were actually Jews, not Muslims) and the Native Americans stepped in between the groups to protect the black group.

Independent: Absolutely appalling. This mother is supporting her smug, rude son, by these remarks, that does not justify his atrocious behavior towards Mr. Phillips who is a Veteran, and an Indian Elder. Methinks she’s lying to cover up her boy’s disrespectful misbehavior.
WP: Of course the Dems rejected this, as they should.

SNL: Got a huge kick when “Harvey” asked Twitler who he was playing for, to donate the winnings, he said to help build a second beach home …
Covington Catholic Confrontation: In a MUCH longer YouTube video by Shar Yaqataz Banyamyan (about whom I know nothing but what was on his Facebook page & the YouTube video below), you can see his group was proselytizing at the Lincoln Memorial a good hour before Elder Nathan Phillips intervened to try to defuse the situation.
It looked like scanning through the video he would confront anyone close by – including Native Americans at the very beginning.
At about the 1:06:30 mark you can see his group turn to the students & start to confront them. And the students responded with some school cheer – looked like a variation on the New Zealand Māori Haka dance. It fired the students up, and that’s when things take a turn for the worse.
Elder Phillips doesn’t enter until ~ 1:12:00 mark in what he describes (and appears to be accurate) as an effort to defuse the situation – and at first it looked like it might work. This much longer video shot from further away does not show when Student H (no further doxxing – but he looks like a smug, smirking Brett Kavanaugh in-training) confronts him.
And his mother’s email to Heavy defending him clearly shows where his smugness comes from.
WRT Twitler’s non-compromise offer (it’s like a spoiled toddler takes two of your toys and then demands $5.7 BILLION to give ONE of them back … but only for 3 years) was of course rejected.
Someone suggested that Speaker Pelosi should negotiate with Ann Coultergeist, since she seems to be calling the shots.
Someone – I think at Daily Kos – mentioned that the forced frozen smile combined with the general air of intimidation intensifies the intimidation by creating cognitive dissonance.
A young Brett Kavanazi in training? Give him a few years and he’ll be giving Kavanazi cards and spades.
SNL: Wonderful send-up of Mr. “Art of the Deal,” TV personality who poses as a real person!
Independent: I remain amazed at the level of stupidity, obstinate, proud stupidity, of so many of our fellow citizens. Some jackass even posted an anti-Semitic comment on a local, statewide, birdwatching notification site, the other day, referring to how “Jews run the world.”
WP: The fool has backed himself into a heck of a corner, and is now scurrying around to find a way out that saves his ugly face. Maybe we will see a real episode of “Spontaneous Combustion” of a human, soon.
SNL: Great skit. So close to the truth.
Independent: The orange one has emboldened every racist to act out their every fantasy.
WP: We dems need to keep rejecting him until he opens the country back up.

WP: What a flipping idiot tRump was announcing that he was offering such a great deal. Bringing up things like
DACA that they were suppose to address over a year ago. and all of his other fake words. If they’d ask us out opinion on it, I’d say NO too.
