A few years back a new face appeared on the financial services scene. She explained financial services practices in a way that affected me in two ways. For the first time, I understood exactly what Banksters and their minions were (and are) up to. Second, I became very pissed off about it. As for Rachel Maddow, she has been my favorite Journalist, since MSNBC fired Keith Olbermann in 2011.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) said Wednesday that the Democratic Party should say "no to the billionaires."
Warren, during an appearance on MSNBC’s "The Rachel Maddow Show," called on the party to disavow billionaire 2020 presidential candidates "whether they are self-funding" or funding Political Action Committees (PACs).
“Is this going to be a Democratic primary that is funded by the grassroots, that is done with grassroots volunteers, or is this going to be something that’s just one more plaything that billionaires can buy?” Warren asked.
“So I think this is a moment for all of the Democratic nominees to come into the race to say ‘in a Democratic primary we are going to link arms and we’re going to say grassroots funding. No to the billionaires. No to the billionaires whether they are self-funding or whether they are funding PACs. We are the Democratic Party and that’s the party of the people,’" she continued. "That’s how we not only win elections, that’s how we win movements that make real change.”… [emphasis added]

Here are three video clips from that interview.
Elizabeth Warren: ‘No To The Billionaires’ Funding Politics
Liz and Rachel are giants, because nobody else explains injustice more clearly, accurately, and honestly than they do. I fully agree with grass roots funding. Just say no to billionaires!
Warren: Corruption Makes Donald Trump ‘An Accelerant’ Of Inequality
As corrupt and evil as Trump is, he’s just the logical culmination of the equally corrupt and evil Republican Reich.
Elizabeth Warren: Endless War In Syria, Afghanistan Is Not Working
I agree with her, both that we need to withdraw , and that we need to coordinate that with our allies. I have said this before.
Of course, it’s way too early to predict the outcome of Campaign 2020, but with Liz running and Rachel covering it, we shall be living in interesting times.
RESIST!!

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
Since you subscribe to the New Yorker, TC, you probably already know they have an article on not underestimating her.
Whether she personally runs (technically it’s still an exploratory committee, isn’t it?), or whether she doesn’t, I definitely want HER MESSAGE to be running, and to win. And then I want it all carried out.
I don’t JD. I just dump all my cookies and internet data several times a day. Doing so resets the cpunt on most publications.
Oh, I see. Sorry I misunderstood. I get their newsletter which is free, but don’t have any kind of paid subscription either. Most of the time their free article limit works for me even if I don’t dump daily. I do recommend this article. (I printed it off as an xps to keep on my hard drive.)
There is a utility called ccleaner with a free version. That’s what I use.
I use the same one (and keep it updated.) Just not as frequently as you do.
Use it anytime you are about to go to the New Yorker.
Thanx TC
Gawd….Ms. Warren is a breath of fresh air, isn’t she?? Good videos. She comes with lots of experience, and she’s a fighter for all of us.
Bravo for Warren, standing up for genuine Democrat values! Hmmmmmmm – Warren in 2020? Hell, the Democrats could nominate a dog and still kick tRump’s arse.
These two ladies ROCK!
Great video. Have high respect for Elizabeth Warren. She does speak truth…. Something we certainly love listening to.
Thanks for the great videos, TomCat. It is a real pleasure to watch them and watch these formidable ladies paint a future that could work for ALL Americans.
Great interview. She has energy, passion and knowledge driving her. Diaper Don is very afraid of her hence his insistence on calling her ‘Pocahontas’ in his usual derisive tone. He has such a small mind . . . and everything else so we hear.
Go Ms Warren!!!
Thanks, Hugs, and Amen to all.
