I’ll be getting this up way late, because I slept poorly last night. Then I took a nap this morning and overslept. Next, I just spent an hour on the phone with a nurse form my Medical Advantage Plan for my annual prescription meds review. The heat wave goes on and on and on.
Jig Zone Puzzle:
Today’s took me 3:59 (average 5:20). To do it, click here. How did you do?
Short Takes:
From YouTube (MSNBC Channel): Soccer Ball From Vladimir Putin Had An Electronic Chip
One has to wonder if Russia has Nano-circuitry tiny enough for Putin to have chipped Trump’s other balls. RESIST!! VOTE BLUE!!
From The New Yorker: Calling it “an exciting new chapter in my amazing life,” Ivanka Trump has been named dean of the business school at the newly reconstituted Trump University.
“I’ve been incredibly blessed with stratospheric success as a businessperson,” Dean Trump said on Wednesday. “This is my chance to give something back, for only fifty thousand dollars in tuition and other fees.”
Trump said that students enrolling at the Trump University School of Business can look forward to gleaning wisdom not only from her but from another star faculty member, Jared Kushner.
“When it comes to business, Jared has been almost as incredible I have,” she said.
I’m calling BS, Andy! There’s no way she can turn out graduates as incompetent and perverted as her father. RESIST!! VOTE BLUE!!
From Daily Kos: In classic con man fashion, the candidate and president who has sworn to bring manufacturing back to the United States isn’t making any attempt to start with his own campaign. In fact, as evidenced by these photos, the Trump campaign is actively getting their gear made in China.
Hey Shit for Brains! How about a tariff on flags for assholes? RESIST!! VOTE BLUE!!

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
6:19 That rope looks like it’s fraying. Safety latches don’t help against that.
Beto O’Rourke’s first TV ad
Common Defense, another association of progressive veterans, is looking for signatures to support Barbara Lee’s bid to chair the Democratic Caucus in the House.
Oh shit.
Chipped ball – (which sounds like a combination of SOS and Rocky Mountain oyster) – Oh, I’m sure they have the technology. Even we do – it’s commonly done to housepets in case they should get lost. But I’m not sure it could be done without his knowing … and since he’s incapable of keeping his mouth shut and his thumbs off Twitter, we would know too.
TNY – A perfect time – something to keep her busy as all her businesses fail.
DKos – Well, I mean, what else? I found it more interesting that AlterNet picked up three articles from Daily Kos this morning alone. DK is doing something right, I’d say.
Cartoon – In spite of the Republican efforts, it’s actually doing quite well though handicapped. And there are people trying to save it.
Oh shit!!! indeed!!! While these guys may have been around for a bit, in my mind it is clear that the advent of Drumpf in the WH has brought these idiots out into the open and emboldened them. I would say that these guys have declared war on the US!
There is talk of a future civil war . . . I think it has already started! I wonder what would happen if “the left” did not show up to this party? . . . aside from the predictable “The left is afraid of us! We won!”
Great ad!
What Squatch said!
Truly sad! But, this is a good new name for Dumpy, Donald SFB Trump!
Grandaddy Trump left some really SFB genes as his legacy!
DK: China can make America great, hell, it owns us!
MSNBC: LOL !! Oh, by far,…… your comment was better than mine, TC !!
NYer: imho…no one would ever enroll in the school. Look at the backlash she’s getting for her line of purses, shoes, etc. Nope. Never!!
DK: “But they are made in eastern China and soon could be hit by punitive tariffs of Trump’s own making as he ratchets up a rancorous trade dispute with Beijing.” How hypocritical !!
Cartoon: Sad, isn’t it? I usually put extra postage on cards or letters, to help the cause.
I feel your frustration on getting prescrips, new or otherwise. It’s a pain. Yeah, our hot days are the same, on & on. We could use some rain, as it’s mighty dry here. Hope that you have a relaxing evening, take care, and Thanks, Tom.
Talk about hypocrisy! He talks about making America “great” again while his crap is made in China. Then he announces a trade war. Only foolish consistencies are hobgoblins.
I have some bills paid automatically, but in some ways it’s safer to do so by mail. Then you know just where your moolah is going.
MSNBC: Good one, Chris! It would have been that easy for the Russians to get more compromising material on Drumpf. Because I bet this ball wasn’t tested before it arrived in America; nobody with any competence around him who could have thought of it. So if Drumpf took the ball up to his suite, please with the present his BBF gave him, the Russians might have learned a thing or two from the conversations there. I don’t mean between Melania and Drumpf, of course. They haven’s spoken to each other for aver two years.
TNY: With such celebrities, and a couple at that, tuition prices immediately doubled. Daddy can’t have his family underpaid, can he.
DK: If the Drumpfs import from China, those product probably will have a tariff stuck on them, but the buyers couldn’t care less, of course. And Drumpf will gladly deduct those tariffs from his tax return.
I have to sign off; it took me an hour to get this comment down because I kept falling asleep behind the keyboard. Jet-lag.
Puzzle — 4:29 I could not get unchained!
MSNBC — “…for Putin to have chipped Trump’s other balls.” — LMAO! Russian hookers are multi talented! Drumpf tossing the ball to Melania is a reminder to me of how he tossed out paper towel in Puerto Rico after the hurricane! Of course not the same import.
The New Yorker — Another big con! As to her father, a five year old is smarter than him! . . . not as perverted though.
Daily Kos — Too bad that those working and middle class people who voted for Drumpf won’t see this or won’t believe it. I hope he does have to pay tariffs on these because this is work that can be done in the US.
Cartoon — I am sure that with complete Republican control in the Congress and the WH, privatisation of the US Postal Service is in the works . . . unfortunately.
It hit 33C (91.5F) yesterday with humidity around 69%. I hope you were able to get sleep last night Puddy Tat and that your AC is standing its ground.
Thanks all! Hot TGIF Hugs!
