It’s that time of week again, and I’m happy to share five fine video clips from Bill’s show last night.  Enjoy!

Monologue: Trump the Riffer

“No one knows what is happening anymore.” He sure got that right. Melania won’t speak. She’s too busy spending Trump’s money.

Geraldo Rivera

I’ll bet a buck that Geraldo will not pay when he loses. It’s unfair that Trump has the worst press since Andrew Johnson. Trump is FAR worse than Johnson.

Louie Anderson

Playing a woman must be incredibly hard.

I Don’t Know It For a Fact

I think that poor bunny has sore sphincter.

New Rule: Pencils Down

I could not agree more about his policies for teachers.

Good show!

RESIST THE REPUBLICAN REICH!!

  1. Bill – Monologue – Fear porn. My God. It would be funny if it weren’t so damned accurate. But, tell me, exactly what money is Melania spending? I thought it was Trump himself and all his cronies who were doing the spending. Like Pruitt.

    Geraldo – Ummmm – why would Bill give this creep air time? Is he a secret masochist?

    Louie Anderson – Socialism IS just neighbors helping neighbors, isn’t it. No wonder
    Republicans hate it. (Playing the other gender IS incredibly hard. People who have done so cite in particular the difficulty of reinventing one’s body language. Mark Twain alluded to that in “Huckleberry Finn,” you may remember, but it goes deeper than just one or two gestures. Of course, with Louie, it’s his mother, so at least he has the benefit of long observation.)

    OT, sort of, but I was reading this week that a black actress is getting a tremendous amount of flak about playing Saint Joan (Shaw.) My first thought was, if this were opera, no one would give it a second look. Opera also has a lot of characters played by singing actors of the other gender. Mostly that’s women playing men, but then, ther is “Platee” and the witch in “Hansel and Gretel,” and others I can’t thinka. Eventually the stage may catch up. Movies will of course be the last to catch up, if ever.

    Fact – I don’t know about that bunny – that round open mouth looks so startled – maybe it did get forced to sign a non-disclosure agreement.

    New Rule – Amen! Hosanna! Preach it! Some of the best sermons don’t come from the pulpit.

  2. Bill just rocks it!
    Donny threw away the prepared stuff because he…
    1: Could not read it anyway;
    2: Had he been able to read it, he would not have understood it;
    3: He still has the best words, and knows more than the generals;
    4: Knows just how stupid his audience is, and what kind of idiocy will thrill them.
    You pick.

  3. Glad that Bill slammed Geraldo, good for him.

    LouieA: I’ve enjoyed Louie through the years, and I find a connection with his vulnerability growing up with an alcoholic parent….I cried almost every day as a child. He’s a lovely man. W/have to read his book when it get to the local library. Neighborhoods are not like that anymore, sadly.

    IDKFAF: Easter Bunny – NDA. Hilarious!! Great video!

    NR: Glad this is coming to light, it’s hard out there and has been for years. I know several teachers w/2/3 jobs (moonlighting), how sad.

  4. Incisive, brilliant, unflinching.

  5. New Rule — “Don’t give the teachers guns.  Give them a living wage!” — AMEN!!!  AMEN!!!

    I Don’t Know It — There is more than one way of being screwed.  By doing the WH gig, that Easter Bunny has just had his career screwed by Drumpf! . . . and I’ll bet it did not feel good!

    Louie Anderson — “Playing a woman must be incredibly hard.” — Being a woman is even harder especially with Drumpf and Republicans and others of their ilk on the loose.

    Geraldo — I never liked him.  Even if, as he said, he is pro choice etc, he made a really stupid career decision to go with Faux Noise!  He will always now be a Faux newsian even if he doesn’t work for them.

  6. Brilliant, each and every one of them. Thanks for posting, TomCat.

  7. Hugs!  Big Rush! 26
