Jared Kushner is in trouble. Of course, Jared has been in trouble, ever since he became part of the Trump Crime Cartel, but it seem that his risk is increasing exponentially. Even his own Crime Lord’s staff is investigating him. It’s getting so bad that keeping his plumb job in the Trump Reich is in jeopardy.
The Office of Government Ethics (OGE) revealed on Monday that the White House is investigating whether Jared Kushner broke any laws or regulations by reportedly taking White House meetings with businesses that later loaned money to his family’s business.
The New York Times reported in February that Kushner met with Joshua Harris, a founder of Apollo Global Management, several times at the White House while Harris was advising the administration and in talks for a job at the White House. In November, Apollo loaned the Kushner Companies $184 million. Kushner also met with Citigroup CEO Michael Corbat not long before Citigroup loaned the Kushner Companies $325 million, according to the New York Times.
Earlier in March, Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL) wrote to OGE asking whether Kushner’s meetings with companies who later loaned money to his family presented a ethics issues for the top White House aide.
In a March 22 letter responding to Krishnamoorthi made public on Monday, OGE Director David Apol said that Kushner’s loans and meetings were worth investigating and that the White House had already launched a probe…
Inserted from <TPM>
Rachel Maddow covered this in detail in addition to Trump’s inability to hire a competent lawyer.
I’m not surprised that nobody want’s to represent Trump. He does not follow instructions. He changes his mind faster than he can drop his pants. He acts on unrestrained impulse. HBe demands that his lawyers commit crimes on his behalf. He blames his lawyers for his own errors, and he refuses to pay them.
According to the Republican world view, which no decent people follow, Jared and Trump have a shared interest in a piece of high-profile property. If this investigation drives Jared from the Trump Reich, who gets to keep Ivanka?
RESIST THE REPUBLICAN REICH!!

Interesting. One attorney with a great deal of trial experence has pointed out that IF Mueller were looking at Trump as a target rather than JUST a witness, it MIGHT put Mueller in a position where he was ethically required to warn an attorney that the attorney was entering into a dangerous attorney-client relationship. (And in this Trump regime, it’s virtually impossible to tell who was fired and who quit.)
“That’s nuts!” No, Rachel, that’s treason.
It is to be hoped that the Federal Bureau of Prisons will claim Invanka along with the rest of the crime family.
Serving Justice up ..!!!
I hope that all of them go down. Deep….if you will.
Maybe I’ve said this before, but I think Jared (of the Javanka duo) has the cold, dead, black-coal eyes of a shark.
Pure Evil!
I concur!
He is on a sinking ship!
“It’s getting so bad that keeping his plumb job in the Trump Reich is in jeopardy.” — He and Ivanka should never have been in the WH!
I hope they all sit for long periods in prison. Interesting that Jared should pick a top drawer lawyer but Drumpf can’t attract one. Further proof that Drumpf is an incompetent idiot.
Kushner under investigation of the OGE? Big deal. ?
Ever since Walter Shaub left the OGE because he was disgusted with what was happening in the White House and the role the OGE was forced to play, Shaub’s position has been filled with Drumpf’s people. So an investigation by the OGE is nothing more than Nunes’ Intelligence Committee looking into Collusion: smoke and mirrors. The OGE will either come back with an “all clear” for Kushner, despite the overwhelming evidence otherwise, or Drumpf throws Kushner under the bus to stop Mueller from investigating him; both options diverting attention away from Drumpf himself.
As we know now from Rachel Maddow’s reporting, Kushner can take a hit (by a bus even), he’s got the best possible lawyer for corrupt people like him, and Drumpf has nobody left. So what better way to divert attention away from Drumpf himself while he’s looking for better legal representation than to point them to well-represented Kushner.
Jared is cold, dead, inside, as No Name suggests, and ought to get his ass whipped.
Lawyers are running from tDump, as fast as they can.
Thanks and rushing hugs!
