It’s that time of week again, and I’m happy to share five fine video clips from Bill’s show last night. Enjoy!
Monologue: Abusive Aides and Military Parades
Trump has posted an ad with the employment service: Pervert Wanted – Whites Only – Nazi’s preferred. A "loose cannon" leading the parade… Love it!
I agree with Bill and Bari. The extreme left is guilty of concrete thinking on this issue as the extreme right is about lynching.
Rep. Adam Schiff on the #DemMemo
Bingo! Trump has a newfound love of the FBI. They told him not to release the Nunes memo too. "A systematic undermining of our system of checks and balances": Right on!
25 Things You Don’t Know about Devin Nunes
LOL! Amen to all of the above!
New Rule: Sub-Literate America
Maybe if Daffy Duck tells him to resign… His sub literacy is one of the reasons the Republican Reich backs him so strongly. As long as they keep praising him he does what they say. Therefore, we must:
RESIST THE REPUBLICAN REICH!!

Will watch later. Love Bill !!!
Thanks, Tom for posting
Monologue – So Trump now has 9 characteristics on Bill’s list of “10 Characteristics of Authoritarian Dictators,” hmmmm?
#MeToo – Oh, sorry, I put the two #MeToo cartoons on the Open Thread. Mea Culpa. I might mention that women are not the only victims of sexual assault. I could give you a case next week where a “varsity team” has been found for years to be sodomozing others on the team for “hazing.” With flashlight, baseball bats, and heaven knows what all. These men definitely should be speaking – if they are ready to. But the other thing is there’s a part of this that is getting overlooked. And that is power. Women simply do not have the power in our society that men do. What do men fear most about women? That women will laugh at them. What do women fear most about men? That men will kill them. A man who doesn’t think he is pushing a woman should think about the fact that he has that power, even if it’s only a perception of power, attached to him. Peter White, I think it was, said a man should not say anything to a woman that he wouldn’t want another guy saying to him if they were in prison. That is at the very least something to think about.
#DemMemo – “How do you win on the facts in an era when facts don’t matter any more?” That is the $64 trillion dollar question, isn’t it. Even if we can’t totally figure it out, we are going to have to figure out enough of it to fight effectively this year. And Bill is right. There isn’t any urgency in the general public over treason, espionage, being attacked by another country, or any of it.
Nunes – I truly believe he has to keep moving, and why.
New Rule – This ties in nicely with the STABLE GENIUS Act (Standardizing Testing and Accountability Before Large Elections Giving Electors Necessary Information for Unobstructed Selection Act.) And yes – the good old Dunning-Kruger effect. As to the rest of this rant – best not to get me started!
I fully agree that the power differential between men and women must be equalized. I just can’t tack the stated belief of several on the far left that ruining the lives of innocent men is OK as long as it insures that no guilty ones get away.
I know you agree, but Bill isn’t getting that there is a power differential. The conversation we need to have (not you and me, but the nation, probably the world) needs to start with the power differential. I think that’s what I liked so much about Peter White’s quote – it starts with the power differential.
I agree. It does.
tRump wants that stoopid parade just to massage his enormous – and badly battered – ego.
Thanks, TomCat. Something caustically humorous to cherish during my Sunday.
Dunning–Kruger effect-in chief.
I thought the guests were great. Rep. Adam Schiff was open and to the point.
It would be nice if republicans were more like Richard Painter and less like Devin Nunes, but it seems as those times are long past.
Between the weasels and Freedumb Caucus, things don’t look good for change.
We need to especially target the following roadblocks to good government for removal.

Mark Meadows of North CarolinaJustin Amash of MichiganJoe Barton of TexasAndy Biggs of ArizonaRod Blum of IowaDave Brat of VirginiaJim Bridenstine of OklahomaMo Brooks of AlabamaKen Buck of ColoradoTed Budd of North CarolinaWarren Davidson of OhioRon DeSantis of FloridaScott DesJarlais of TennesseeJeff Duncan of South CarolinaTom Garrett Jr. of VirginiaLouie Gohmert of TexasPaul Gosar of ArizonaMorgan Griffith of VirginiaAndy Harris of MarylandJody Hice of GeorgiaJim Jordan of OhioRaúl Labrador of IdahoAlex Mooney of West VirginiaGary Palmer of AlabamaSteve Pearce of New MexicoScott Perry of PennsylvaniaBill Posey of FloridaMark Sanford of South CarolinaDavid Schweikert of ArizonaRandy Weber of TexasTed Yoho of Florida
Thanks. I don’t see Steve King of Iowa, but I’d bet on him. He hangs around with Gohmert. I also don’t see Doug Lamborn of Colorado – ideologically he’d fit right in – but he doesn’t play well with others, so maybe not. Ken Buck now – his claim to fame is that he once trashed a woman opponent for wearing high heels – WHILE WEARING COWBOY BOOTS WITH 3″ HEELS.
Wow, it would be nice if I knew how to post a comment.
Not to worry. Shit happens.
Thanks all! Hugs!
