It’s a very busy day. I’m still trying to get appointments squared away, I’m waiting for a big grocery delivery from Store to Door, and this evening Wendy will be here to make the TomCat fit to be upwind of people. Please expect no more than a Personal Update, or perhaps an Open Thread, tomorrow and Friday. Tomorrow, I visit my Prosthetist, Amanda to pick up new prosthetic shoes and evaluate what we will need for George for the coming year. On Friday, I see Megan for a release for surgery. It’s a very wasteful hoop through which I must jump. Happy hump day, but don’t hump Trump. The only people who do are Putin and Russian hookers.

From Washington Post: Joe Scarborough, the conservative co-host of MSNBC’s political commentary show “Morning Joe,” is leaving the Republican Party.
He made the announcement Tuesday night during an appearance on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” alongside his co-host Mika Brzezinski. A two-minute clip of the segment was teased on the program’s Twitter account earlier Tuesday.
Scarborough tore into what he characterized as a complacent Republican Party unwilling to stand up to President Trump.
“You have to ask yourself, what exactly is the Republican Party willing to do?” Scarborough said to Colbert. “How far are they willing to go? How much of this country and our values are they willing to sell out?”
“Aren’t you a Republican?” Colbert asked.
“I am a Republican, but I’m not going to be a Republican anymore,” Scarborough said to loud applause from the audience. “I’ve got to become an independent.”
You all know that I am NOT a fan of Joe Scarborough or his show. However I would be a hypocrite if I did not applaud his decision to leave the Republican Reich.

Yesterday, in Oklahoma, two Democrats won special elections: Michael Brooks-Jimenez won State Senate Dist 44, SW Oklahoma City, and Karen Gaddis won State House Dist 75, E Tulsa County. Congratulations to both, and to the state of Oklahoma, which is demonstrating they are not incapable of seeing the light. Long may they continue. (Of course I don’t mean you, Viv. I KNOW that YOU see the light!)

MoveOn – I’m telling my Senators, and any others who will accept an email, not only to reject Trumpcare, but to do NO business until Mueller’s investigations are complete. Doing business now is like getting married, slowly receiving more and more evidence that the new spouse is a poisoner, yet continuing to eat every meal together.
WaPo – Horrors! Trump actually accomplished something positive! Unbelievable! (I credit this to Trump, though Joe doesn’t, because it was through Trump that he realized the party’s true evil.)

MoveOn — I support you all in demanding that senators vote NO on Trumpcare. If senators vote yes, I suspect that a number of Republican senators, and likely some reps, that will find themselves unemployed at the next election cycle.

Well I’m back on my laptop. You’ll never believe what the problem was! Cat hair!!! I took it in and my computer buddy, Hussein, said there was nothing I could have done myself. He suggested a cleaning to see if that would help. Once he opened it, there was about 2 kg of cat hair. How embarrassing! I have to stop letting the kids use the laptop!

Keith Olbermann: As expected, time-line expert Keith connects all the Drumpf-Putin dots over time, right up to the G19 where Drumpf has again colluded with Putin, this time to share American cyber-intelligence to “guard” future elections, or so he twitters. What more proof do Americans need that their Resident is demented; he actually thought that making a deal with the man who, who according to his own intelligence bureaus is the enemy responsible for the hacking into the 2016 election, to share this and future information is going to make him look good?
