Bill 1: "Climate change, Climate change!!"! which, btw, is very telling. Sad.
Bill2: Yes, they are enablers, but also don't have a backbone to stand up to the OO. It IS an ID village!!
Bill I – I see the Senate Intelligence Committee has already turned him down – at least "at this time." The house Committee won't give him anything; Nunes knows what he has to say and doesn't want anyone else to hear it (and sticking his fingers in his ears and going "Lalalalalalal I can't HEAR you" won't prevent anyone ELSE from getting the message. NC HB2 – I hear the repeal is not what it's cracked up to be. However, there was a great April Fool statement that genetic engineers are working on developing a transgender human that doesn't need to pee. Wall – while I have to agree that no wall ever solved anything, I would be willing to give building one around Trump voters a try.
Bill II – Oh, yes, indeedy. Enabling Norma Desmond is one thing, as long as she's not the leader of the free world. Imagine Norma Desmond being President! OMG, we are all Joe Gillis! Learn to swim and get a bullet-proof vest, fast!
Bill 1-"In the last cold war, at least the White House was on our side" is just beautiful!
Bill 2- "Enablers," seems to have come into common parlance over the last decades in regard to people enabling others who suffer from alcohol and drug addiction, as I recall: helping them maintain suply, helping them keep their secret, and the like. Here, as with Nora Desmond, we have them helping keep Rumpy in the delusional fantasy world he's built up, rather like Michael Jackson's "Neverland." Well put, Bill!

Thanks for Bill Maher. Videos like his, Sam Bee's and John Oliver's feel like having been thrown a life jacket instead of a block of concrete that makes my mood plunge like some of the American political news is want to do since November.
Bill 1: A plan to build a wall around Drumpf supporters might get Europe to chip in for it too, as long as it's certain that Drumpf and his minions are behind walls too where they can do no further harm.
Bill 2: The excuses of Drumpf's enablers are starting an awful lot like "I was just following orders" Yup, and that took my mood down a bit with it.
Bill 1: "…outrageous lie…" "Trump calls it tweeting". lol.
Bill 2: Enabling a treasonous traitor… The people enabling not-my-president should be ashamed of themselves; They should resign before they are indicted.

It has been many years since I saw Sunset Boulevard as a young fella on late night TV. I decided to see if the library had a copy of it for viewing. To my delight, it is available and with no waiting list. I should get it in a few days.
Facts: #15. Despite the initial outrage from Hollywood insiders, the Academy recognized the film's artistry and nominated it for 11 Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Black-and-White Cinematography, and Best Editing. It won for Best Screenplay, Best Black-and-White Art Direction, and Best Score (for composer Franz Waxman). It earned nominations in all four acting categories, for leads Holden and Swanson and supporting players von Stroheim and Olson. It's one of only three films nominated in all four acting categories that didn't win any of them; the other two are "My Man Godfrey" (1936) and "American Hustle" (2013).
