I’ve had a change in schedule. Wendy will be coming an hour and a half later than before, because she quit her part time job tending bar. I guess she was tired from exhausting all the hot younger men she was meeting there. Dang!! If only I were 20 years younger, I’d be a hot younger man!! 
In any case, I’m doing as much as I can before she gets here.

"Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my ‘wires tapped’ in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism!" Trump tweeted early Saturday morning
If true, however doubtful, Obama would have gotten a court order from FISA. I see that as fully justified by Trump’s involvement with Putin (R-RU). RESIST!!
From The New Yorker: In a frenzy of early-morning activity on Saturday, President Donald J. Trump ordered aides to immediately cover every phone in the White House with tin foil, White House sources confirmed.
According to the sources, Trump contacted staffers Kellyanne Conway and Sean Spicer at approximately 6 A.M. and instructed them to purchase enough tin foil to cover every phone in the building.
The President, still wearing his bathrobe after what was reportedly a sleepless night, personally supervised the tin-foil installation, sources said.

CNN – It's quite possible, as the story dribbles out, that there may have been a FISA warrant. And they are not all that easy to get, as I am sure everyone here knows. But, as TC said, fully justified.

When I think back on my past ideas about politics,,,,,NEVER ONCE did I imagine some in the oval office who would be this disgusting, this childish and this unqualified. I sincerely hope the people who voted for him are able to open their eyes, admit their error and VOTE FOR SOMEONE ELSE in the Congressional elections next year!

Perhaps this is projection showing that Drumpf would try to order wiretaps regardless of the legality. Obama's representative said categorically that the accusation was not true and went so far as to outline policy. Drumpf is such a paranoid ass!

Thanks all for your thoughts and prayers yesterday and this past while as I chartered this new territory of losing my mother. Her passing was, without doubt, a blessing as she was in pain and there was no longer any quality of life left. She lived 88+ years, a full life. My brother and his wife return to Toronto tomorrow afternoon and life will gradually get back to normal, whatever normal is. Thanks again.

Of all her part-time jobs, bar-tending must have been the most exhausting for Wendy, so it's no wonder she has quit there. It doesn't sound like she's going to quit on you to, TomCat. From what you write she sounds as if she really likes working for you, and not only because you sound like the nice guys in the SNL video yet don't suddenly turn Drumpf on her, but because you are a nice guy and treat her well.
CNN: Drumpf's twitter storm could be caused by many things:
– The pressure of more and more Americans to his Russian ties investigated is penetrating his cocoon and he lets off steam in the usual way, completely oblivious to the fact that it makes him look even more guilty.
– He's twittering to create a diversion, pointing to Obama as the bad guy, because Republicans have always done that and have their base fall for it.
– He's been listening/looking at Faux News/Breitbart type of conspiracy theory news again and interpreting it to fit his world view, as he did with the Swedish terrorist attack that never was.
– He's been looking at too many series and believes that if he can make the allegations that Obama has illegally had him tapped stick, any evidence of his personal ties with Russia would be inadmissible in court.
– All of the above

Apologies to any who were offended by the SNL video. I inmcluded it because I think that we on the left are too "politically correct" at times.
I wasn't "offended" so much as "triggered." There is a difference. I suspect Pat B was the same. But nothing is accomplished by pretending ugliness doesn't exist, so points like the ones made are necessary.
