It's a very busy day. Wendy just left a while ago, and I finished my research. I still have all my medical documentation to collect for my appointment tomorrow. (1) Yinnopoulos writes for Breitbart News, which Steve Bannon – Trump’s strategy director – ran before joining Trump.
(2) Before Yiannopoulos speaks at Berkeley, Breitbart publishes an article saying that Yiannopoulos will call for the withdrawal of federal grants and the prosecution of university officials who endanger their students with their policies.
(3) Berkeley opens its doors to Yiannopoulos, but campus police have to cancel the event because of masked agitators.
(4) Hours later, Trump issues a misleading tweet, accusing the university of not allowing free speech and promoting violence against innocent people with different views, and threatening to withhold federal funds.
(5) The next night, Yiannopoulos on Fox News says the incident proves that universities like Berkeley don’t deserve federal grants by cracking down on free speech.
(6) That same night, on CNN, I raise the possibility that Yiannopoulos and Breitbart could have been collaborating with the agitators – saying “I wouldn’t bet against it.” This generates a belligerent column in Breitbart with a misleading headline calling me a liar for claiming that Breitbart News organized the riots.
I don’t want to add to the conspiratorial musings of so many about this very conspiratorial administration, but it strikes me there may be something worrying going on here.

Left wing anarchists are usually not masked. It sure looks like a false flag to me. Regardless of who was behind it, I condemn such violent behavior, as do Democrats everywhere. Progressives and Liberals deplore civil violence, unlike Republicans who encourage and endorse it. Also, Berkeley officials had nothing to do with preventing the Nazi from speaking. They condemned the criminals too. RESIST!!

I just heard from Edie. She had a quadruple bypass unexpectedly, but is home now. She didn't say how she is feeling; I would guess similar to being run over by a train.

Robert – It's clear to anyone with a brain that the agitators were not legitimate lefties, who, even if one should go crazy, don't show up all in black with black masks. People who show up all in black with black masks are PLANNING violence. Breitbart "doth protest too much, methinks." (and yes, I know, that is not what the word "protest" means in that quote, but it's too good a phrase not to use.) I wonder if one of them was James O'Keefe.

KPDF: Boy did they get that wrong! Of course Drumpf isn't looking at an alternative Constitution or Statue of Liberty; we are. We're such a bunch of losers that we can't see that his Alt-versions are the true ones.
SNL: Hit all the right spots for me, though it's hard to laugh about satire turning into the naked truth: It's Bannon – not Pence as I originally thought – who's running the country. My bad.
Robert Reich: All bets are off…this was another one of Bannon's orchestrated Shock Tactics. Of course the Alt Right has not organized these riots; they just invited some friends to come and listen to Yiannopoulos. They were just a bit particular in their dress code for the event, right?
Cartoon: I don't think there's a need for that. It is implied by the 2nd Amendment which, according to aternative sources, was written for whites only.

Good luck with the medical mayhem this week! I see, unfortunately, that the Falcons lost in overtime. Oh I would dearly have loved to see the Patriots lose and rub Drumpfenfarten's nose in the loss. I went to the care home and cleaned out my mother's room. I had many hugs from staff and comments from the staff that knew her best, just how sweet and smiling she was and how easy to care for. I have to go over there tomorrow and pick up the final things, and then start the notification process, assuming I get the death certificate tomorrow. Apparently, her cause of death is listed as bronchial pneumonia. Pneumonia is a common cause of death for dementia patients, based on reading I previously did. What a weekend!
God rest your mother's soul, Lynn. God bless you too for caring so much and so well. It is terrible that people have to suffer so.
