The first tropical depression of the Atlantic hurricane season formed Friday in the Western Caribbean, but forecasters can’t yet say if it will pass over the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
This could play hell with the GOP gusher.
From AP/Google: Former Vice President Dick Cheney was admitted to the hospital Friday after experiencing discomfort, the latest health scare for the 69-year-old Republican leader who has a long history of heart disease.
Cheney was expected to remain at George Washington University Hospital over the weekend, said spokesman Peter Long.
If Cheney does not make it, please avoid death for at least a week afterward. I value you all far to much to want you to risk being sucked under in the downdraft at the pearly gates.

No comment on Cheney. We all know what we are thinking. I’m convinced he’s a cyborg and will never die.
According to Huff Po, that tropical depression could delay everything (cleanup, drilling the relief well, etc.) for 2 weeks. If we get a hurricane, God knows where that oil will go.
I saw a vid on Huff Po yesterday of Ft. Destin beach where kids were walking through oil soaked sand and playing in oil soaked water. WTF is wrong with these people? A little girl was freaking out because she had oil on her feet and the camera man suggested there was a station down a ways that had goo- gone. She (the mom) said (honest to God) “Oh, I already packed some.” WTF is wrong with these people playing in fucking crude oil and why isn’t that fucking beach closed?. What if it gets in her hair? How are you gonna get that out? Fucking morons. THAT SHIT IS TOXIC AND YOU ARE LETTING YOUR KIDS PLAY IN IT. You might as well let them play in the water of a water sewage treatment plant. I imagine these are the same people who vote Repub.
I have no desire for Cheney to die. The damage is done. The best thing he could have done for America is to have died ten years ago.
I doubt this storm will be much trouble, but one will be before this is over.
