I don’t care if the Senators get to leave on time for their recess.  For Harry Reid and Chris Dodd to try to bring the bill to a vote before progressive amendments get their fair vote is a foul tactic.

  1. I agree – they should stay until the bill is passed. Good on Feingold for not voting for it until it captures every loophole that the Banksters can find. Like Ezra says, the longer this bill is out there, the stronger it gets. Also good is to see Snowe and what’s her face from Maine crossing over to vote the bill. I think that they will again cross over when the bill is stronger.
