I’m writing for tomorrow, day 74. My helper-friend came this morning, and we worked all day. There was no time for sleep or research. Hugs to all.

Me too… lol.
Wow – you worked all day – well done TC and friend! You must feel very proud of yourself – and I hope you have a snooze in the sun as per the photo!
3:55 ~ When I was growing up in Utica, NY, there were 2 men who frequented our neighborhood with horse-drawn wagons. One was Smiley the rag man and the other was a Green Grocer. We looked forward to their weekly visits.
3:16 Like you Patty, when I was growing up in southern Ontario, the milkman, the breadman and the vegetable man as we called him, all came by with their horse drawn wagons. Jim, the milkman, who always called me Pickle-puss, always had carrots and apples that we could feed to his horse. Each of these horses knew the route and where to stop. At my grandfather's summer house, we also had ice delivery from a larger wagon pulled by 2 horses. We also had a fellow come around once, sometimes twice a year with his wetstone to sharpen knives and scissors. He was both "horse" and sharpener.
Cartoon ~ Now you can rest with a feeling of accomplishment. You deserve it. Rest well.
I'm watching Lindsay Graham advocating for war to combat Global Terrorism on MTP with Chuck Todd. I think he should be the first to voluteer to go. Or will he get the "vapors"?
Sleeping is no mean art: for its sake one must stay awake all day. ~Friedrich Nietzsche
There is more refreshment and stimulation in a nap, even of the briefest, than in all the alcohol ever distilled. ~Edward Lucas
A good laugh and a long sleep are the best cures in the doctor's book. ~Irish Proverb
And if tonight my soul may find her peace
in sleep, and sink in good oblivion,
and in the morning wake like a new-opened flower
then I have been dipped again in God, and new-created.

[S]leep is the golden chain that ties health and our bodies together. ~Thomas Dekker
5:22 average up a couple seconds. The horse is beautiful. The exploitation not so much. Patty, when you were growing up in Utica, I am very confident that horse was better treated than working horses are today. Treatment of all workers is not what it was. TC, not surprising to be short of both time and sleep after two messed-up days. Thanks for being here.

I hope you got plenty of rest tonight, you deserve it. Maybe you will sleep as well as the cat in the cartoon!
Pit stop! I overslept and just woke up.
Oh, to sleep as the kitten sleeps! They can sleep anywhere and anytime!
