thanks TC. Great quotes.
Men are what their Mothers made them… I have a great son who treats his woman like a queen, and me too of course!
Mothers hold their childrens hands for a short while, their hearts forever….One of my favorites, and it is so true. Mothers NEVER stop worrying about their children and their happiness.
We never know the love of a parent til we become parents ourselves….I have a beautiful daughter who has a daughter of her own, she is a wonderful, loving Mommy to my grandbaby!
Moms are awesome, the world would not be here without us!
Thanks, Sue.
Any f*k ups my children have are due to me. Happily they’ve turned out damn well.
Leslie, I’m glad to hear that.
Thanks TC – once you become a mom, your world changes for the better. My boys and I are so close because we spent 10 years together with just the 3 of us. They are the best boys a mom could ever want. I must say, I’ve done a fairly good job so far. I would walk in front of a train for them.
When I become a Mom, I’ll let you know. π
I wonder what Jill Bennet thought about men whose mothers were really mean, rotten people. I’m lucky enough to have a wonderful mother, but I know a lot of people who haven’t been so fortunate.
Lib, my mom was so abused by my dad that the hid in a gin bottle and to excape, she hung herself when I was 13. So I understand what you are saying.
But, I’m happy to celebrate with those whose moms deserve the honor.
Thanks Tom! (((hugs)))
You’re most welcome. π
Well I’m sure glad none of you ever met my mother…. (I was put out in the garbage at a young age)
But my wife is a great Mom to our kids and that’s worth celebrating.
Then I celebrate your wife, Tim. See my reply to Lib.
That was funny! I told my son I wanted to grow up to be a ‘Mother” some day…. to which he said, ” You already are….. and you will NEVER grow up.” smart kid.
He gotcha! π
Bought my wife a forty dollar cookbook in Charleston yesterday for Mother’s Day. But I think the best present was me carrying the thing as she continued to shop, think a double-sized hardcover New York phone book.
Beach, that is love, π
