Here is the sixty-second article in our Republicans on Parade series, featuring individuals who personify what the Republican Party has become. Today’s honoree is fugitive Eric Frein. He is so honored for ambushing and killing a police officer.
Fox News is increasingly fixating on the gruesome workplace beheading last week in Moore, Oklahoma by a recent Muslim convert, suspect Alton Nolen. Perhaps sensing a way to once again fan its patented flames of Islamophobia while simultaneously blaming President Obama for being indifferent to the threat of terrorism, Fox is treating the murder as a national story with sweeping political implications.
Sounding the jihadist alarms, Fox News and the right-wing media are eager to label the ghastly crime an act of Islamic terror. Law enforcement officials, however, aren't in the same rush, noting that the attack came immediately after Nolen was fired and stating that they've yet to find a link to terrorism. While that story continues to play out, it's worth noting that an actual act of political terror remains in the news. It's just not a priority for Fox.
On the night of September 16, 31-year-old marksman Eric Frein was allegedly laying in wait outside the Blooming Grove police barracks in northeastern Pennsylvania, preparing to assassinate state troopers. Shortly before 11 p.m., Bryon Dickson was shot and killed as he walked towards his patrol car. Moments later, as he approached the barracks to begin his overnight shift, trooper Alex Douglass was shot and seriously wounded by a bullet fired from a .308-caliber rifle.
Described as a "survivalist," Frein disappeared into the Poconos Mountains woods where he's been hiding ever since, eluding law enforcement and its massive manhunt, which includes hundreds of law enforcement officers with assistance from the FBI, the U.S. Marshals Service and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives…

Now you’re probably wondering how I can tell this monster is a Republican. I base it on three things. First, if he were not a Republican, The Republican Reichsministry of Propaganda would not be projecting to cover-up the incident. Second, if he were not a Republican, Republican Ammosexual websites and blogs would not be calling the incident a false flag, perpetrated by the evil Kenyan, to use as an excuse to take away their guns. Third, if he were not a Republican, Republican hatemongers would not be celebrating his act and calling him a hero.

Eric Frein is a murderer, domestic terrorist and a psychopath! Oh those poor police officers and their families! God send he is caught soon – and that the Pox network acknowledge his crimes!
Thanks TC. I find this terrifying, not so much Frein himself as the right-wing responses and denial. And the fact that there are so many of them. God help us all.
If he were not a republian he would already have a rope around his neck and we would hearing about this 24/7.
This would be the story played 24/7 if he were not a TeapublicanT. I clicked on your "hero" link and was thoroughly disgusted. This guy was a coward to hide and wait with his rifle to assassinate from a distance. Close up he wouldn't stand a chance against other armed men (Troopers).
I live not far from the place where the woman was killed and it has been truly put down as “workplace violence”. I don’t know what Fux Spews has going on. I don’t poison my ears with their cyanide. But, here in OK, we know it is a guy using “Islam” as a defense. He even asked the judge for a “Muslim” lawyer when he was arraigned! The judge didn’t play in to that and just picked a “normal” attorney out of the pool for court-appointed attorney. There was another person that pulled the same thing a week earlier at a nursing home that didn’t end in any injuries. Leave it to OK to have the weirdest people in the country!
Mr. Frein had his 15 minutes of fame. Fox won’t cover anything that might paint the gun-lovin survival nuts in a bad light! God forbid they should really cover news!!

Frein is obviously a psychopath, which makes him a perfect hero for Faux news.

Frein is a domestic terrorist that poses a greater threat to the US and its citizens than Nolen who was angry with a co-worker and as a result murdered that co-worker.
In my mind, Faux Noise is a terrorist organisation as it incites hatred of Muslims and whitewashes the actions of Frein, a true domestic terrorist. I wonder how these Faux Noise talking heads like Cavuto, O`Reilly, Kelly etc would feel if Frein decided to take shots at them . . . maybe because he didn`t get enough air time?
I am in agreement with Lynn’s assessment above on Eric Frein.
Pennsylvania is a beautiful state with lots and lots dense-thick rugged wilderness and with plenty of game. If Eric is a true “survivalist”, he could survive but the cold and snow, winter, is fast coming into play now. Military survivalist techniques are hard and exacting. From what I have read about Eric, he is a self-taught survivalist. Will his own techniques enable him to survive remains and is the question. His own personal supplies have been found at his campsite along with his rifle. 20+ days have gone by and where & what he is doing to survive remains as a question mark. As the article states, …”until fugitive Eric Frein is finally found, one way or another.”
Thanks all. Overslept. I agree with Lynn, but, since Faux Noise is nothing more than a propaganda organ of the Republican Party, the party is the terrorist organization.
We did have a Republican who claimed to proove that this guy is a left wing plant. I will not approve hos comment, because he hacked the integrity to post under a real email address, like most Republican trolls. Suffice it st say that he posted hos proof on a site called "Lunatic Outpost".
