Every week, Republicans join a competition to see who can say the most outlandish things, and in the process, every week they push the envelope on just how extreme InsaniTEA can become.  I trust that you will believe it, when I tell you that last week was no exception.

Limbaugh-Jesus

Rush Limbaugh learned some things while trying to watch football. It was horrible.

Rush Limbaugh had a perfectly miserable time watching football on Thursday night, poor guy. He made the mistake of tuning in early for the pregame show before the Baltimore Ravens/Pittsburgh Steelers matchup, and instead of hearing some good football commentary, or perhaps some patriotic claptrap on the anniversary of 9/11, what did he get? An earful about how terrible domestic abuse is—not what he signed up for, at all.

“I learned that I’m not doing enough to stop wife-beating,” he said, his voice dripping with mockery, disgust and indignation. “I learned that I am not aware enough. That my conscious (sic) is not being raised enough. I learned that it’s an epidemic. It’s happening all the time. I learned that 600 women have supposedly died from wife abuse since Ray Rice cold-cocked his wife in that elevator.”

He learned all of this at the hands of James Brown, who gave an impassioned, principled, and very brief speech about how it is time for men to step up and take responsibility for the problem of domestic abuse. Rush Limbaugh does not like learning things. It makes him very, very ornery. But at least he could brag about one thing. He saw this coming. “As I predicted,” he said. “Football is politics. It has jumped the shark and become politics.”

Football has become, in Rush’s immortal words, “chickified.”

There go those feminazis again, ruining everything…

If Limbarf has an excuse, it is that all the women he has experienced have been masochists, since becoming involved with him is one of the most self-demeaning things any wo0man could do.  This is jizst one of five Republican doozies from last week alone.  Click through for the other four.

  1. Barf:
These two words, chickified and feminazis, are in some dictionaries. I had to look them up for myself and try to understand them and their meaning. lol.

“chickified” : ” … the sissying of society by means of being soft & weak. Mainly pertaining to the emasculation or castration of men as a society.”

“feminazis” : “Feminazi is a term popularized by radio talk-show host Rush Limbaugh and in use since the early 1990s. It is a portmanteau of the nouns feminist and Nazi. The online version of the Merriam-Webster dictionary defines the term as used in a “usually disparaging” manner, to describe “an extreme or militant feminist”.”

“The term is used pejoratively to attack feminists who are perceived as extreme.”

  2. Five RepublicanT Douches~

    1. Sara was really apologizing for not bombing the entire world, which might have happened had McConJob been elected. All another country's people has to do is look at us cross-eyed and it's reason for war.

    2. Sorry, Rush Bo. We FemiNazis have taken over football. Go cry in a corner somewhere, preferrably in Russia with your idol, Pootie. He's a real man's man.

    3. How does a New Yorker not know about the Daily Show? She must have had a lobotomy provided by RepucliCare. That was a very good episode last week. I especially liked the nurse who used to be at the Free Clinic who lost her job. Brilliant!

    4. I would like to see the whole couch with them on it, in an elevator, plunging out of control, from the top of the Empire State Building. What a hoot! FAUX and Fiends strikes again at the most vullnerable.

5 . Will everyone please dress as an Immigrant this Halloween? I'll dress as one of my Grandmothers.

  3. As Lona (Care2) points out, only five this week.  Even scarier, none of them comes from an elected official or a candidate.  If the candidates are keeping their mouths shut, with, what, six? seven? weeks to the election we are in  big trouble.

tasunka (Dare2) asked about the origin of "grammar nazi."  I am not the urban dictionary, but it appears to me the term"nazi" is used in a lot of phrases for some one who is or is perceived as a "My way or the highway" type.  Feminazi.  Grammar nazi.  Soup nazi.  If the noun before it ends with an "n" it may come out as cop instead.  Fashion cop.  Like every other accusation, this phrase family is thrown around with a lot of projection LOL.

  4. Sister Sara has had  very, VERY busy week.  As you all probably know, the Palin "Snowbilly" Clan (?Klan?) was involved in a drunken brawl.  (I'm hoping that the lack of video so far is do only to quibbling about how much TMZ is willing to pay for it.)

In the meantime, Alaskan blogger "The Mudflats" has the nitty gritty details:

    http://www.themudflats.net/archives/44433

Potential charges are pending, but at the very least I'd say they're all guilty of at least a Moosedemeanor, don't you?

  5. lol I guess with a leader like Rush Limbaugh it would be.  After all what do they have to do?  Pledge there support to the Koch Brothers?  Just passing time.  While our country and Government goes down.  What has changed since 2000?  I read that most Americans fine the congress and republican/tea party despicable?  Then why don't they vote them out?

  6. I needed the barf bag alert for this one.  I don't know why, but I clicked through.  Idiots Palin, Rush, Ingraham, McCaughey,, and anyone on Fox news is a lot of garbage to read.  I cannot fathom how dumb a woman would have to be to go out with Rush.

  7. Repulsive Limbaugh being revolting again – but everyone's comments were just perfect!  Thanks TC!

  8. Would someone please put a sound proof muzzle on Bulls Eye Barbie!  She's a detriment to the human race.

From this feminazi, Rush, pound sand!  You're blowing smoke out your ass!

Well McCaughey has shown that she is a poor loser.  May the rest of the Republicanus/Teabaggers be so struck . . . absolutely dumb!

"…after a storm of negative comments on social media, the good folks at Fox & Friends assured their audience that, “domestic abuse is a very serious issue to us.” — Then why not treat it as such instead of making it a joke?  The only reason they came back with a short comment was because they got caught with their pants down, so to speak!

"With immigrant-child-phobic Laura Ingraham nodding in agreement, Buchanan spoke ominously about how immigrants would single-handedly bring about the “decomposition of this country, socially, culturally, politically.”" — No, it is the "decomposition of the Republicanus/Teabagger party" that will happen, but not fast enough since the immigrant children they so love to hate are not old enough nor eligible yet to vote.

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
