I’m writing for tomorrow and rushing to get done in time to meditate on my Bronco’s worship in the Church of the Ellipsoid Orb.

From Daily Kos (Hat-Tip Nameless): Republican idea of compromise summarized perfectly in one tweet
Does that nail it, or what?
From NY Times: The Supreme Court begins a new term on Monday, even as the landmark rulings of last term continue to reverberate. The court has agreed to hear more than 50 cases so far on disputes both familiar and fresh: from affirmative action and freedom of speech, to campaign finance and the president’s power to make recess appointments.
Tome to stock up on barf bags and blood pressure meds. Just like in Poltergeist, judicial venereal disease, aka SCROTUS, is ba-a-a-a-a-a-ck!
From MSNBC: The Rosetta Stone of TEAbuggery
Visit NBCNews.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy
When the Rosetta Stone of a movement centers around Christine "I am not a witch" O'Dingbat, that movement is completely off the deep end! As for the Republican legislators, who fear being TEAbuggered, putting theirs jobs on the line to represent your constituents and convincing them to vote in primaries to protect them from the Baggers is their job. Representing only a minority, because they fear fear them is simple incompetence.

3:11 I wasn't resting on my laurels like the cute little puppy dog. I hope I don't get Stomped or Crunched.
3:36 The dog jumped up and ran away.
3:12 I was stomped by big horse feet, not cute puppy feet!
Mashed!
BRILLIANT cartoon TC – the GOP/TP need a dummy/pacifier – in fact issue them with one each!
Thanks, Pat! π
6: something…
Perfectly… π
OOPS!
Thanks! π
5:11, just under the wire …
There is a petition on Credo to send Agent Orange a pacifier for every signer. It's at http://act.credoaction.com/sign/boehner_pacifier?akid=9082.1200158.dlA7oQ&rd=1&t=3 and they are up to 178,672 and going for 200,000.
Yes, the tweet nails it superlatively.
I was sort of expecting to hear something about Oregon passing its own little Monsanto Protection Act. You certainly have my sympathy. I think the newest story is at http://www.takepart.com/article/2013/10/04/oregon-passes-mini-monsanto-protection-act
Signed and Shared, thank you Joanne D…. π
Thank You for Signing!
Thanks for posting the CREDO petition again. I signed it a few days ago and posted it here too on 06/10/13. But it has to be brought up over and over so it is good that you posted again! Very fitting with today's cartoon!
I signed and shared it on Facebook.
I tried to sign but my postcode was rejected – ah well! Perhaps they could have had a section for 'Foreigners think you are an idiot as well Agent Orange!' – but they don't seem to have thought of it this time!
Not bad!
Love i!t
This is a bit more complicated than your srticle makes it seem. The issue is not a cave-in to Monsanto, but a desirfe to avoid a patchwork quilt of extremely different regulations. In Eastern Oregon, Monsanto would rule the roodt had that failed, because Republicans domaiate there. Kitz and the Dems are working on a set of uniform GMO regulations for the entire state. I'm witholding judgement until I see that.
I just checked my e-mail and had this from the DCCC. Quite interesting.

I don't do FB, but I twitted it! π Thanks!
Puzzle — 3:12 I was stomped by big horse feet, not cute puppy feet!
Daily Kos — Those 26 words perfectly encapsulate the current political situation in the US, such that even the low information sheeple, Republicanus/Teabaggers and Faux Noise can understand. Just like 2 year olds, the Republicanus/Teabaggers don't know the meaning of anyone else's "No!" other than their own, and I'm not convinced that they know that either.
Children who play with matches get burned!
NY Times — Hold your nose because I think the stench of conservative judicial activism is going to permeate the SCOTUS! Arrggghhhh!!!!!
MSNBC — Kornacki is so right. Just look at the fear of being primaried that lives in McTurtle on his next re-election bid in 2014. And he has not been subject to that threat before since senators run every 6 years and his Kentucky area was strongly Republican the last time around. In my opinion, part of the reason that Boehner seems more and more intransigent on the shutdown and the debt ceiling is the fear of being primaried. Yes he was vulnerable in 2012 but made it through. What will 2014 be like? It seems like the Teabaggers are stronger than in 2010, if only because mainstream Republicans are afraid of them. They are so far off the grid of craziness, it is truly amazing that anyone with any brains embraces their ideology, or idiotology as I call it.
Cartoon — To paraphrase a song
Those "ayes" for the government shutdown (and the potential "ayes" for the debt ceiling default) certainly did not come from the American people!
I hope that Boehner, Weeper of the House, remembers to share the pacifiers with the rest of the Republicanus/Teabagger whiners!
You were masjed, not stomped. π
Ane we get burned too!
Amen to ARGH!
Good word!
Amen!
I think all the Teabaggers should be worried, as well as most Republicans. You know the old saying, you can fool all the people some of the time, etc. I think their days of fooling people are about over, at least I hope so. If the media would quit putting Cruz and Paul on so much, it would certainly help.
That's why educating people is OUR jib!!
