    California has made the Tea Party and the republican party as a whole limp and powerless by providing the California government a supermajority Democratic controlled legislaturre.  Once the republicans were nuetered, the Democrats have been able to eliminate a multi-billion dollar deficit and now has a budget surplus, accomplished through a combination of cuts and tax increases. 

    First California, next the whole country.  BEHOLD!!!  See what can be done once republicans are removed from power.

      Jerry, I love the sound of "snip, snip" as it applies to California Republicanus/Teabaggers!  Make it so in the entire country starting in 2014!

    When I first saw this a few days ago, I cracked up!  I got a kick out of watching Robert Reich laughing away at Bill's monologue.

    “New rule,” Maher said, “Conservatives who love to brag about American exceptionalism must come here to California and see it in person. And then they should be afraid. Because while right-wingers are taking over places like North Carolina and Texas and even Wisconsin, California is creating the kind of modern, liberal nation the country as a whole can only dream about.”

    “And not only can’t the rest of the country stop us, we’re going to drag you with us,” he said.

    Hmmm. . . just remembering, California didn't do so well when it had 2 actors — Reagan and Schwarzenagger — and the country didn't do so well with the one — Reagan.  Zero hammers out of 5 on their performances.

    Too bad there are laws against pollution, otherwise I'd say dump the Teabaggers in the harbour!

    I'm glad thay you asll enjoyed this.  It takes a Democxratic supermajority, not counting the DINOs, to get things done.
