Bannon belongs in jail, but he’s still not talking, so we will learn nothing towards an indictment of Trump. It’s amazing Bannon and others are willing to go to jail to protect Trump.
They fear his vengeance more than that of the justice system. The snake that he is, I don’t find that to be all that amazing.
JM: Bannon will end up with some jail term or other, but he’ll sacrifice himself to the little he’ll get for not having to be interrogated by the Committee. He’ll rather do that than have an irate Trump spill the beans on him in revenge for whatever would come out at the inquest.
MSNBC: Attack on democracy? What democracy? Competitive authoritarianism sounds about right to me.
