I’ve been watching the Rittenhouse trial. It looks like he will be found not guilty. This guy is a fraud. I think he was looking to shoot some protesting liberal. The judge is a joke. It’s depressing to watch this so called justice at work. It was illegal for him to be on the streets. It was illegal for him to have that gun. He claims he was there to help people, but after shooting 3 people he just ran away not waiting to tell the police what happened. I don’t believe him for a second.
I can’t agree with you more. And all that talk about tears – I did watch that – there WERE NO TEARS. Because tears can’t be faked (a very few people can. but by far the majortity cannot.)
And his mother is a real piece of work. She , being the “adult” at the time, needs to be prosecuted federally for taking that weapon across state lines.
But Steve Bannon has been indicted! Whoopee!
JD, great points! Yes, karma is on her way——Bannon now and Mark Meadows did not comply by his deadline this AM——so his “time in the barrel” should be coming up soon, too. BWHAAAA!!
LP: Laughable and terribly depressing at the same time.
MT: This is an excellent piece of reporting, boys. But WTF; the defence is going for a mistrial and getting Rittenhouse to walk scot-free? With an obviously biased judge, a jury ‘vetted’ within a day and a defendant, on trial for the murder of two people and badly wounding another, turned into the victim, shouldn’t that be the other way around and the prosecution demands a retrial?
TH: Could it possibly be because most media are right-leaning and owned by big Republican donors, Tom?
RU: I like the way they are delivering their pizza message in all heavily gerrymandered districts in the country and effectively get the message out how wrong it is. Though I think it’ll hit home more with people gerrymandered out of the district and not getting free pizza than with those that get their piece.
RA: Well, the DOJ is finally moving in Bannon’s case. I hope that’s the beginning of their action and not some sand to put us to sleep.
Beau: Beau is starting to sound more and more like a “strategic” voter. He’s gotten to the point of despising the GQP but is very unhappy with the Democratic party too. But he also knows he can’t possibly vote for the GQP and that not voting may lead to the same result, so he has no other option than to vote for Democrats in a two-party system. But I’m sure that if there locally is an independent candidate campaigning on a truly progressive platform, they will get his vote. If a second independent Bernie Sanders stands up between now and the midterms or 2024, the Democrats will lose the election to the GQP.
