GK: “Perception” seems to be the issue…the perception that indicting is vindictive. Well, no, if the crime was done, it needs prosecution.MT: The wanna-be man-thing is a total idiot. He’s in congress only because of massive gerrymandering, I believe.
MSNBC: Sounds like a good start on making “Good trouble” for Dumpy.
ROF: So, one of the legacies of the Dumpity years is that the other-than-Dumpy-nut-jobs feel liberated to let it all hang out!
RA: It is amazing how maggots attract more maggots. Hitler had his “special” retinue, and Dumpy has his. Gosar was first elected to congress in 2010, so he preceded King Maggot, but was just so ready for the appearance of that one.
JdD: Funny.
Beau: If this ass wins the AG spot, those books might also be removed from the libraries! It is a sign of the special tenderness, and compassion these folks have for the kids they are trying to “protect” from any hint of emotional stress (“Oh, the children will feel guilt, if they learn about slavery.”) while
setting them up to be totally ignorant of actual history. In some of those cases, it’s not even history, yet, as in “the New Jim Crow.”

Paxton is bad enough … but he may get primaried … by Louis Gohmert, of all people.
MT: It’s obvious that Josh Hawley is desperately looking for a theme to get attention back on him. He came up with conservatism and manhood in his head and that sounded good. But now he has absolutely no idea where to take it from here and he starts to ramble. The trouble with rambling is that it often has you touch on issues you’re preoccupied with…
MSNBC: It’s a relief to hear that some prosecutors are still trying to indict TFG and are taking the necessary steps to do so.
RIF: You don’t teach 12-13-year-olds that someone is having sexual intercourse with his niece, whether that is true or not. It just isn’t a subject that should be discussed by a teacher and that on its own shows you what a nutjob this teacher is and how unfit for the job she is. But of course, she isn’t fired; not when almost half of Congress can say (i.e. lie) and do whatever they want without any repercussions.
RA: I think, I don’t need to reiterate the last part of my comment above to say QED.
JdD: Too over the top for me.
Beau: WTF, Cider House Rules? We’re all born free? Those are too confronting for tender souls of Trumpkin children? The parents which support the removal of these books are too stupid to realize that the argumentation these books are upsetting, making children anxious or feel guilty only proves that there is a lot in American history to be upset, anxious and guilty about. QED.
One of George Takei’s sites had an article about a tweet – one of those reverse psychology tweets – something like “I hop no one pgotoshops Josh Hawley in drag makeup and posts it all over the net. Don’t do that!” The results are both hysterical and unsettling. Unsettling because many of them make him look like an evil Randy Rainbow.
