Comment from Mitch –
GK: Well, that was 2 days aao, and Bannon did not show up today, and charges are on the way,it appears.LP: The GQP no longer has a bottom, just like their fuhrer!
ROF: What we have here, are two lunatics clawing their way to the padded room!
TH reminds me of a phrase form “The Guns of August:” “Of more than ordinary mediocrity.” But really, who, in especially today’s GQP is beyond
mediocre. Oh, well, there is the exceptionally talented, Machiavellian, SOB. Mr. Turtlehead. BTW, if you’ve read his famous tome “The Prince,” you will realize that Machiavelli, himself, would not spit on Mr. Turtlehead; actually had a much firmer moral compass than his reputation suggests.
RR: It’s always the money!! And, Sinema may just be working assiduously to end her career.
Real New Jersey: What can I f*****G say?
Beau: I can see someone thinking, “Would you please get to the damned point, already?” while trying to be patient, but it shows. And, he’s very probably right about the person who wrote to him, but his advice makes sense in any case.
GK – yes, and I’m disappointed they didn’t also go with inheent contempt. It’s true that it hasn’t beenused for almost a hundred years so there would be fightng over it – but in the meantime, he would be locked up, and that would be nice. And also help the DOJ. They’d know where to findhim.
Thank you for defending Macjiavelli. He indeed does not deserve his bad reputation. He was exactly like people today teling Democrats “The GOP ilies and cheats like they breathe, and you need to get a spine and stand up to that and pay them in kind.” I don’t know that I 100% agree with that … but it is certainly not evil.
I LOL’d at your NJ comment!
And Mitch’s reply to my reply –
Cool!Hey, what else could I say, as a loyal ex-pat!

JM: It’ll happen, but don’t grow a beard waiting for it. It’ll be down to your knees before Bannon is put in jail, if ever.
Raw Storey:
“The House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 insurrection will vote next week whether to find Steve Bannon in contempt of Congress.”
Then:
“After the select committee adopts a contempt report, it will be referred to the U.S. House of Representatives for a vote and then handed over to the U.S. Attorney’s office for prosecution.”
LP: Excellent way of confronting Virginians and asking them: “Is this who you are?”
ROF: Even a comedy writer wouldn’t touch this to use for a script. It’s not funny in a healthy-laugh kind of way and it’s completely unbelievable.
TH: Mediocre, talentless, incompetent…it all doesn’t matter in a culture obsessed by celebrities made famous by the media, especially social media. A culture that has taken grifting to a whole new level by calling grifters and snake oil men “influencers”.
RR: ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ It’s the same everywhere, I’m afraid. True public servants (because that is what politicians should be) are very few and far between. And if they start off that way, the power of politics and their serfdom to big money soon corrupts them.
NJ: In a field full of mediocrity, running on banning swearing makes you stand out.
Beau: I’m glad Beau couldn’t see my face…
