Glenn Kirschner – More Evidence of Trump Crimes Revealed: John Eastman 6-Point-Plan to Overturn Election Results
Thom Hartmann – Why Is Santa Going to Drop A Bomb on Biden? So obvious – unless one is not paying attention. I was brought up -and that was reinforced by – well, everything factual – watching our government, watching other countries – to view taxes as an investment. By paying taxes, I invest in good government, including infrastructure, justice, social programs. It’s only Republicans (and those they influence to be ignorant) who view taxes as theft.

OT: Sorry, but I have to break my arm patting myself on the back: I fixed my carburetor!
I knew I had to go to my Ace Hardware store for some Gumout Choke & Carb spray. I had a socket wrench set that has a 13 mm. socket that I knew was the right size for the carburetor float bowl – but my ratchet was was too short to reach the bowl.
So I had to make a second trip to get a longer ratchet ($35 – OUCH!).
But ~ 3 years ago it was doing the same thing & I took it in to a Toro repair shop & they charged me $90 for what I bet was the same thing I did today. And it was 3 weeks before I got it back, so I had to rent a mower a couple of times!
All in all, I’m pleased as punch & proud as peacock!
Plus I was able to get the lawn mowed on a beautiful Autumnal Equinox day!
That sounds just about perfect. The ratchet was much cheaper, and you’ll always have it. And I know the feeling of accomplishment. I hope you didn’t really break your arm – you deserve better.
JM: Kirschner is so right about us feeling: “This is more of the same…this is more evidence of the same”. He implores the DOJ to finally take some steps in arresting TFG and his cronies. His reasoning is that stepping up to the plate and holding TFG accountable will conserve American democracy when the next nefarious president steps up to the plate. But it goes much further. Kirschner seems to forget that not indicting TFG and his co-conspirators emboldens Republicans in Congress and state Congresses to do away with democracy altogether and make sure they stay in power.
TH: If Santa drops that bomb again next X-mas, it’ll take all economies down with it. We won’t have money to keep a global economy going, let alone invest in a new economy to keep climate change within a predictable range. That basket taking us to hell is going to be turbocharged in only a few months time.
LR: Anti-vaxxers are coming up with contradictory theories on vaccines so fast that even a well-trained young comedian like Trae runs out of breath trying to keep up with it. Thanks for trying, Trae. I don’t know how you do it.
GZERO: As expected, even the most technically advanced metaverse couldn’t unite the leaders of the world. And no, Zuckerberg is not THE leader of them all.
Beau: Everyone expected this infighting within the GQP almost a year ago when Trump first fought McConnell over the GQP leadership. But those who were against Trump, like Cheney, were quickly dispatched of, with the help of McConnell, I might add, and that was it. The party tried to get rid of the most fascist of the Trumpkins in Congress but that also failed. What’s left is the usual stalemate within the party which seems to work for it well because it’s one thing they’re good at; keeping the ranks closed and stand united in one goal which is making the life of all Democrats a hell and Democratic politicians and Presidents in particular.
Zuckerberg is the leader in the sense of the old joke … about all the parts of the body getting together to select a boss. The brain ws the obvious candidate, but the anus decided itwant to be boss. All the other body parts laughed, which angered the anus, so it froze up. And stayed frozen up. For weeks. Until the rest of the body had to make it the boss just to survive. And the moral of the story is that you don’t have to be a brain to be boss. Just an A-hole.
I am so very happy that I never joined (and never will join) Facebook.
